1. Firas, when flying online it often happens that the controller looks at another airport chart (mostly newer or even taken from real world) and you maybe have the stock scenery airport layout on your computer. I'm not the specialist when it comes to online flying but that is what I have heard from others. I think that you have to inform the controller what scenery do you use.
2. Hi Jerry, I don't want to be disappointing but after all what you have described it looks like you have to do a clean re-install. There seem to be too much problems on the server computer since the replacement of the hard disk.
3. Hi Oliver, I'm afraid that there will be no fix. Please read also this posting: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1580 Can you provide a screen shot so we can see what exactly happens on your laptop? Thanks.
4. Hi Ray, yes, it will be solved in version 2 because I do no longer stick with SimConnect, I will use FSUIPC instead. Here in the development environment it already works.
5. Hi Raymond, What is the name of the scenery (which developer) and/or did you verify that it is not an FS9 scenery?
6. Hi Clive, thanks very much for the information. That is a very nice customer service !
7. Firas, Did you install any new scenery for these airports and did you run the "Scenery update" from the DataProviders menu after the install? Are you talking about FSX-internal ATC or about any online ATC (Vatsim/IVAO), or third party ATC tools?
8. Hi Frank, no worries about your English ... => (from the post above) Once the BGL file has been updated and the runway identifiers agree with the navigation data runway identifiers, don't forget to remove the lines from the runways.txt file since they are no longer required then.
9. Mark, these servers are hosted in a high availability and high security data center. Usually there are no problems at all, really. But due to the complex architecture of the internet there might be bottlenecks from time to time.
10. Zoran, Did you already read this post from the FAQ section?viewtopic.php?f=3&t=217 Confirmed. The DataProvider can only be installed on a computer where FSX/P3D is installed.
11. Jerry, if your trial license has not yet been expired try to just reinstall the DataProvider. Before you do so, you should remove the old license key file which can be found here: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\AivlaSoft\EFB\AivlaSoft_Efb_V1.dlsc
12. Bernd, The DisplayUnit gets the information via the TCP/IP network from the DataProvider. The DataProvider is getting the information via the SimConnect interface from FSX/P3D. There might be a well known problem with SimConnect which tends to reduce/prioritize output to its connected clients when it is stressed. You can try to open the built-in monitor from the DataProviders menu (Data > AI aircraft monitor). This monitor indicates the output of SimConnect. If there is nothing to see on this monitor then nothing comes out of SimConnect.
13. No performance issues reported so far by the beta testers and also not by other customers. I'm afraid that the issue must be on you computer.
14. Hi, according to the forum rules (see rule #4, at the top of each page) you have to sign your posts with your real first name. Thanks. It took me some time to figure out what the cause for the problem on your computer can be. It seems that you have the PMDG navigation data referenced instead of the AivlaSoft EFB data. Please download the correct navigation data and reference that from the DataProviders settings. I'm sure you will have some procedures more then.
15. Hi, Please read here viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1260 Also the operations manual, section2, starting at page 3 is very helpful in this regard.
16. Hi Kin, did you run the update or the full install for version 1.5.0? Only the full install allows to install the free AIRAC cycles from both navigation data providers Aerosoft and Navigraph. If you ran the update then the folder for the navigation data is not affected, it should be the same as before the update. If you ran the full installer then you can select which navigation data you want to have installed. They will be installed into the FSX installation folder as follows:
17. Hi Michael, did you already read this article from the FAQs: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1260
18. Alfredo, if you have the right runway identifiers in FSX then you don't have to add any lines to the runways.txt file. Please verify whether you have some lines for LEJR added and - if they are there - please remove them. Then save the file and restart the DataProvider.
19. Firas, can you navigate to the following folder on your DataProvider's computer using the Windows Explorer? C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\AivlaSoft\EFB\AivlaSoft.Efb.DataProvider
20. Hi Michael, Hard to believe ... KORD is the biggest file with a lot of procedures. Which navigation data provider are you using and which AIRAC cycle?
21. Hi René, thanks for this detailed report. Much appreciated, really. Before I start asking some questions, did you already read this thread? viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1535 Maybe it helps. If not, just come back and let me know.
22. Hi, it's most probably one of the text boxes on the "Navigation data" tab which causes this message. You have to enter the folder name into both text boxes for each navigation data provider. E.g. if you select "Aerosoft" as your navigation data provider then you have to fill in the folder name for both simulator types, also if you not run the "other" simulator type.
23. Terry, from the logfiles it seems to be all OK. No problems logged there. Can you try it once again when changing the postfix ".pln" to ".txt"? Or you may send it to support@aivlasoft.com.
