  1. Hi Jean-Louis, I'm sorry but I have no idea what the cause for the problem is. Did you verify that all paths are correct, and no doubled files (or cycles) are on that computer?
  2. Philippe, when saving a flight plan for use with PMDG you have to select the folder where PMDG expects the *.rte file. Usually this is \PMDG\flightplans\NGX (or similar). I don't have access to my flight sim PC right now so I just write what I can remember should be right .
  3. Hi Darren, a quick look into the navigation data tells that TNCM has no procedures for runway 28, except STAR 'ULUBA1' if you use Navigraph data, Aerosoft does not contain any procedure for runway 28 at all.
  4. Hi Darren, oh, this is one of the most asked questions ... , please read the operations manual, "section 2 - DataProvider", and read also this topic from the FAQs: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1260
  5. Hi Wil, yes, EFB is getting its information from IVAO although "The Eye" does no longer exist. EFB needs two things, the boundary data to depict FIR boundaries and live data to determine which FIRs and ATC services are online. Both can be obtained without "The Eye". It was the boundary data from "The Eye" that is required. But in the meantime this data can also be downloaded from our website. http://www.aivlasoft.com/download/misc.html
  6. Hi Wil, It seems that the path to the flight plans folder is not set properly. Usually this is "\Flight Simulator X Files", the folder that is currently set is the installation folder.
  7. Hi Glen, no, this is not a problem, this is the original text. Don't worry about FS9 ... heaven knows why this is so, but it's OK.
  8. Hi Glen, thanks for the detailed information. What makes me puzzled is that there are about 30 or 40%. Sounds like there are doubled files somewhere on the computer what is messing up the DataProvider. Before you did the re-install of FSX, did you run the uninstaller, or did you remove all the files manually? Can you verify that all paths and folder names in the "scenery.cfg" file are valid entries or maybe there are some paths and folder names which do not point to the current installation? The DataProvider is reading the scenery.cfg file and is processing all the paths and folders which are listed therein. If there were some folders which are not part of the current installation, then the files in these folders would be processed too although they are not required.
  9. Hi Glen, can you verify that the UK2000 files are compiled for FSX and not for FS9. FSX does not distinct between them but EFB does. Maybe this is the cause of the problem?
  10. Salut Jean-Louis, could you verify that the runways.txt which you edited is located on the DataProvider's computer, and that no other entries for LGKO can be found in that file except LGKO 15 14 LGKO 33 32
  11. Hi Leodirk, do you mean that the DataProvider does not connect with FSX, or it does not connect with the DisplayUnit?
  12. Salut Jean-Louis, - did you install a third party scenery for LGKO or did you add a replacement AFCAD file? - did you run the scenery update - which file name is indicated at the airports information dialog (go to the Airport Information dialog and double click in the blank area above the General Info / Communications tabs until you see a filepath and filename).
  13. Firas, you don't have to bump your own post and also not to open another thread because of the same issue. Please read the answer at your "other post".
  14. Firas, please send an email with your request to support@aivlasoft.com and provide the email address which you used when you purchased the license key.
  15. Hi Ralph, if the DataProvider is starting with an open settings dialog means that the settings file could not be found. If the DisplayUnit opens with the settings dialog can have two causes, either it cannot access the DataProvider files and therefore it opens the settings dialog to allow a change of the DataProvider folder, or - as above - it can also not find the settings file. I cannot imagine why this happens on your computer, but sometimes it is the anti virus program or any other program which tries to achieve the same goals as an anti virus program, which removes the files. Hope this helps.
  16. Hi, I don't think that this behavior is related to EFB. I just did a search on the internet (using "MSVCR80.dll" as a search term) and I can see that this seems to be a general error which is caused by so many different causes. There are also some hints and tips how to solve the problem: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index ... 247AA5aUmu
  17. Hi Walt, ILS information is only taken from the BGL files. Procedure data is taken from either Aerosoft or Navigraph data. Did you verify that no "old" assignments for SBRJ are available in the "runways.txt" file? Did you run the scenery data update from the DataProviders menu after you have replaced the SBJR ADE file? I'm not a scenery designer but I know that there is a so called "Delete section" in the BGL files which is used to determine which data must be taken whenever there are two or more files from one airport (e.g. stock airport file and 3rd party file). So if you added a new file for SBJR make sure that the "Delete section" is properly set.
  18. Hi Richard, setting all timeouts to 10 should not be the first way when trying to find a solution. It's like to unscrew the red-alert-bulb ... What could be the difference between "yesterday" and "this morning". Some other programs running in the background (e.g. hidden anti-virus tasks, or hidden updates, downloads, backups ...)
  19. Why don't you try to use the search function at the top right corner of each page (forum rule #3), LEMD has been discussed many times in the past already. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1281&hilit=lemd and BTW, according to forum rule #4, please sign your posts with your real first name. Thanks. Sometimes it's really annoying to answer the same questions again and again and to say the same things again and again ...
  20. Hi all, the Navigraph AIRAC installer is using the folder "AivlaSoft" below your FSX/P3D installation folder (e.g. "X:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\AivlaSoft"). If you ran this installer, just reference the folder "AivlaSoft" in the DataProvider settings. The AivlaSoft Version 1.5.1 full installation contains two free AIRAC cycles, one from Navigraph and one from Aerosoft. To distinguish between them, the installer is creating two different folders "Aerosoft NavDataPro" and "Navigraph FMS Data". If you ran this installer, you can choose between these two folders.
  21. Hi Louis, good to hear you have solved the issue on your computer. What you describe might have helped on your computer, but I can say that nobody else has reported the same or a similar problem. So I guess it's not a general problem, sorry.
  22. Hi Wycliffe, thanks for coming in . X-plane is still on the plan but it will not be available with 2.0. Maybe 2.1 or 2.2. The release version 2.0 will support FS9/FSX/P3D because all of them are available through one single interface. X-Plane requires another one and I did not have time yet to study that other interface and the entire database structure which must also be known before I can start to develop.
  23. Louis, I don't think that copy/paste will solve the problem. There are some more files and folders required. The installer normally creates all the required files and folders. If this is not done after the installation then you first must figure out why the installer cannot do its job properly. I cannot say what's the problem on your computer because I don't know your computer and all the settings and other active programs.
  24. Hi Luis, I'm glad to hear that you have managed it and that it works now. As a side info, all these settings are described in detail in the installation and configuration manual.
  25. Hi Robin, you must make sure that the FSX window has the focus when pressing Ctrl-Shift-F9 as well as when pressing one of the menu items.
