Solved!!!!!!!!! thanks URS you wont believe this, the problem wa in the data provider mai machine settings, server, in tcp comm it was set to local only,,,,,i thought because the sfx was in the same machine it has to be the data taken locally,,,,error. thnaks a lot,,,,its not easy to do really i consider myself 7/10 in pc rating but doing the local network if you dont do that frequently, is not that easy. thanks again, hope my post help somebody with the same issues.... lUIS

ok did all shared folders as you said, once all floders shared in the fsx machine where the data proveder is,,,,i got to the other machine where the display unit is, i think here is where im doing domething wrong..... this is what im doing, open the display unit. 1) initializing 2) connecting to data provider here (nothing happens) 3) click system, the settings 4) go to tcp communication folder click remote then server name or ip addres, i click the name of the computer where fsx its installed, then click check name comoputer says ok HOST NAME FOUND IDNT CLKICKNY timeout sending nor timeout disconnect or timeout alive signal. then go to folders and links 1)inj data proivider folder, althought in my main machine (where fsx is) its under c, local app....here appears the same route but wuth a Z: users/luis felipe urbaneja/appdata/local/aviasoft/efb7aiviasoft efb.data proveder (i really thing this is correct) i dont have clear wich off of the following one i have to add the documents fsx files? i suppose is under library folder but im not shure. form here one no idea what else i have to do luis

disregard last post i founf the fsx files it was under my documents, not documents dont have any idea if this is important..... other thing i found 2 ways to share folders, dont have any much idea how this works.... if i right clik the mouse it says share with,,,,nobody, work group(read) work group read and write, last one specific users,,,the opthe way clik properties in the folder, the it opens a new folder wich the second option is a folder called share. then isede it has the route to the folder then says advanced share folder,,,, this is the part i dont have clear....and i suppose is the important one... luis

ok i did manage to share the first folder, but in documents in any users i have flight simulatorx files i did change vew hidden files but nothing, i have one called aicviasoft but not fsx files. luis

shared folder i botH pc with local network (wired) but when opening disply unit in machine where fsx is not located, it says connectig but nothing happens.....how do i know its looking for it correctly. IN REMOTE I TYPED THE COMPUTER NAME WHERE FSX ITS INSTALLED in folders and linkks tab it says: provider data folder (Z DUE TO LOCAL NETWORK) user/appdata7local7aicviasoft7efb7aiviasoft.efb.data aprovider. IN AIRCAFT LIBRARY FOLDER FLIGHT LOG FOLDER AND ROUTE FORLDER DO I HAVE TO CHANGE THOSE SETTING OR I JUST HACE TO MANAGE THE DATA PROVEDER SETTINGS? LUIS

just dld 1,5 when clicking navigraph data, i dont see de navigraph fms dta folder to be used by the data provider.....y just have efb plugins. bit not the naigraph or the aeorosft data folder to ne used by the provider. ive dld in program filex x86, aiviasoft..... Luis

guys if efb boght suscription covers just one navigrapsh cycle, if im not suscribed, efb will still works with that first cycle? or will stop working? Luis

ok as you said the installer has to be taken to the second machine......the installer and the display unit had to be taken there,,,,,someway.... clear now

how the display unit will appear in the second machine if it isnt downloaded there...thats what i dont get....in the pdf doest say how this display unit icon will appear in the second machine....it just say open display unit ..... luis

patrick thanks for the answer but if i just download it in one machine how do i instal,l the display unit in the second one, i gues i can copy the zip file in the other machine, sorry but i dont get it, luis

guys, for 2 pcs do i vave to download the sa,e zip file in both pcs? if yes i assume in one i install de data provider and in the other one the display unit, itthis ok, if yes i inist y have to make 2 downloads.... once downloaded do i type the same serial key in both machines, will work one key produsct for two different ones? is there a guide anywhere on how to do this? pdf doesnt say if you have to do the dowmload in each machine? can anyone help' thanks
