I have the feeling this has been asked many times before. But I'm an old man so please forgive. I just added an ILS runway to SBRJ 20L using ADE. But I can't get it to show in EFB APPROACH as a runway or with any of the proper ILS layout information. Is there something special required from ADE's ILS to have the Data Provider get this information to have the Display unit show the ILS information as normal? I know the ILS runway is set up properly because I can alter existing ILS data and the provider displays the right information. I'm told the Provider gets its ILS info from an ILS charts of sorts in order to have it displayed properly. Is this right or what is required? Thanks, Walt

THANKS FOR THE REPLY, I actually do get the SIDS and STARS on most transfers from the EFB plans but not on some. What I do get most times in a number as the first way point. It seem like it might be an altitude or something. If I leave it in sometimes after takeoff it will fly righty past it and go to the first way point after the number. Other times I've discovered it will mess up the whole flight plan. If I try to clear it you get a discontinuity, which can be cleared. I just think that a few things in the export module need to be adjusted. But I'm grateful when it does work. Thanks, Walt

Thanks very much, I'm now doing new flight plans and using the export module to put them into the A320 MCDU Flight plan. However, I still notice that sometimes the full flight plan with the SIDS and STARS does not transfer over. I get no error messages or anything and I have the "write procedures" box checked. Is there another reason why the full SIDS and STARS sometimes don't export properly?? Thanks, Walt

This is concerning the transfer of my existing flight plans in the EFB ROUTES (that I have already created before using A320 Extender X) to the MCDU via the export module. I've noticed that not all the way points get transferred. I have the procedures box an write procedures box checked, and I'm assuming that will also transfer the SIDS and STARs. Is this correct? I've also noticed that when I first attempt to save I get the message "The flightplan cantains procedures elements from an airac cycle which is different than the cycle currently installed". What does this mean? Does this prevent all the waypoints form being transferred through the export module to the MCDU ?. Thanks, Walt

PROBLEM SOLVED: I Realized that I was running the 1.3v from 2011. I was using everything including doc's from 3 years ago. After updating the current version with the export mod works great! Sorry for my stupidity. Thanks again, Walt

Thanks very much lonewulf47 for the information but I still need some help in doing this. 1. My A320 flight plan path is "My Documents/Aerosoft/AerosoftAirbusExtended/Flightplans". All the flight plans there are e.g "EDDFLOWG01.flp". The EFB plans in folder "Flight Simulator X Files" are a different format "EFB Frankfurt Main (EDDF) to London Heathrow (EGLL).pln" Do you have to manually change the name to the Airbus format or make other changes? 2.The saved flight plan path in EFB is C:\Users\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files, are you to change this path in the Settings to "My Documents/Aerosoft/AerosoftAirbusExtended/Flightplans". (I am unable to find this discussed in the documents as you say) Thanks Walt

Does anyone know how to load an EFB flight plans into the MCDU of the Airbus A320 Extender X which is now said to be the best A320 on the market? The A320 ExtenderX is very realistic and some users say they can load flight sim Commander's flight plans in the MCDU although I don't really know how. Is anyone now flying the Aerosoft A320 Extender X and using EFB plans and getting them into the MCDU/MFDU. It sure would beat loading them manually. Any help on how to solve this issue would be appreciated. Walt

I just want to set up a flight between two airports and insert various waypoints along the way for sight seeing purposes. How do you do this? When I try to modify the flight to insert waypoints (enroute only) I get no drop down menu that shows the waypoints along the way (route) like the manual says. Please tell me the procedure. I've been trying for days. I realize that you cannot modify SIDS, STARS, an APPR's but enroute from the "modify" page gives me no waypoints (DME,VOR, APT"s) to select from and the "Insert selected waypoint" never enables. Am I trying to do something that is not possible in EFB? To just create a flight plan between two airports without SIDS,STARS and just add a few waypoints over selected areas between the airports. Please help. I can't figure it out. Walt
