1. Ah ok, I have overlooked that within the whole description. Are you sure that VTBS is available as default in FSX:SE? AFAIK it was not available in FSX and it is also not available in P3D v4. There is only VTBD Bagkok Intl available...
2. Nevertheless it would be interesting to know what simualtor you use?
3. We are already aware of the disappearing A/C symbol if a certain combination of item selection is present: It has been discussed here https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3102-approach-plate-acft-icon-disappearing/ and will be corrected wit the next update. It only happens at the rare combination of CMPS, RNG and ARC selected off during climb or descent. This has only been detected recently.
4. A flightplan/routing never includes SID and STAR. BTW how would you join a SID to HEC and from there a STAR into KSFO? There are no direct connections from HEC to any SID or STAR of the proposed routing.
5. - No, we do not provide a HDG up display feature for the world map - for the simple reason that we do not want to increase workload on the computer. We assume that most users run EFB and the simulator on the same computer - I do not understand that part of your question. We have shortcuts for DEP and ARR on rhe RSB - the lowest line shows DH and MDA for the respective Approach Categories 3, 2 and 1 - the greyed out fields are dependent on the respectice setting in "Settings/Miscellaneous" -> "show distance/altitude table also if glideslope is avaiable" This item is not activated by default, as for an ILS you do usually not need ste-by-step altitude references.
6. Troy, Interpreting your ServerLogfile, I see that you have installed the documents on a Cloud drive (OneDrive). Please read the respective Q & A https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/2951-win10-onedrive-cloud/
7. This is a very rare issue, obviously related to .net, that we were not (yet) able to resolve. For the moment just reboot your computer and the issue should be gone.
8. Well Troy, This is not really much information that you supply. Sounds to me like: "My car is not running, what shall I do?" ? It would be very interesting know what kind of installation you have: Server and Client on same machine or networked, Server Build # and then some logfiles would also be interesting. Maybe you consider supplying this kind of information?
9. The ARIAL Narrow Font is missing on your machine. This usually belongs to a Windows standard Installation.
10. In the C:\Users\<username>\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Client\Logfiles and C:\Users\<username>\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Server\Logfiles It's always a *.txt file called ChangeLog.txt
11. Glenn, Thank you very much for your kind words !
12. No, please read about this in FAQ https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/2813-could-not-reach-any-date-server-port-13/
13. Confirm, you are also on FSX:SE? What builds # of EFB v2 have you installed? What version of FSUIPC have you installed?
14. Did you run the database update after applying the update?
15. Well, by RTFM you might find out how the values for RVR are defined ?. Landing minimas have their own definition files. Values for visibility are entered with the respective dimension. Those values are therefore not related to EFB v2's dimension definitions.
16. Hi Roger, There is an update available From RFSB, including the new ILS frequency. New NAV frequencies can never be replaced by an external source. They must be incorportated in the respective BGL, as in any other cases you will not be able to tune it....? I haven't checked the update yet, but as per the changenotes the ILS should be updated to 109.95.
17. Ok ,it's up. See under Contributions/Profiles. I used the higher grossweights to make it less prone to overweight warnings, but to be honest, I don't know which figures TFDi uses. You can adjust the figures anytime with the Profile Editor. Just download, unzip and copy into <EFB v2 datapath>\Client\Profiles, normally C:\Users\<username>\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Client\Profiles
18. Ok, I'll give it a try. No matter how weird the name is, we'll get it working..-?
19. Not sure, whether T2G/simMarket installers create an entry in scenery.cfg. Sorry, I can't remember that. In any case the installation path is clearly visible in the screenshot and you should see something similar. Did you consider to attach the server logfile for troubleshooting? Maybe the scenery.cfg would also be helpful. And after all, confirm that you are running the server with full admin rights, either set in the properties/compatibility tab or by right clicking and "run as admin"? Of course I did. that's what is contained in the BGL. If the designer decides to break the TWY there's not much that we can do. There are other examples for that. EFB v2 reads the BGL, not the designer's mind...? But just to make it clear (nur so nebenbei...?), there are no broken taxiways in the stock airport....
20. Manfred, Maybe just as a sidenote: if the Airport in question (EDDM from T2G) is properly installed, it shows up properly. I have no idea what you did in your install but I must point to the above fact, that a proper install results in proper depiction - even with "EDDM_AF_SODE.bgl". Furthermore I can't figure out how the whole topic should be related to FAKE RUNWAYS ???? Maybe you can check your install (including scenery.cfg) and find out if the scenery.cfg REALLY points to the proper path. If it does - and you can clearly see that in my screenshot, it works as designed. So as a conclusion, you should start from scratch and un- and re-install the airport. I can't point more to the fact that IF the proper path is defined, the proper BGL is found and properly depicted. It is however impossible to look into your computer and analyze your install. This is something you need to do yourself. Just be sure - and I say it again - that the airport is properly depicted with "EDDM_AF_SODE.bgl" IF EFB v2 can find it. If not, then of course there is no chance and the default BGL is used.
21. I'll do my best. Can you please indicate the name of the *.air file of the TFDI B717?
22. You'll find out as soon as the new release is out...??
23. Nothing has been changed in this respect. ActiveSky reads the latest flightplan transferred into the Simulator's flight plan directory. This function however is dependent of the Profile Setting of each aircraft (see profile tab "Options": forward flight plan to default GPS)
24. You might have missed this contribution: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3037-ai-traffic-not-seen/?do=findComment&comment=18948 This will be corrected with the next build.
