  1. There are of course almost as many points of view as there are forum members however my personal point is that - coming from real world aviation and presently working in a company which produces Route Manuals - that it is always a bit confusing as the "automatic" part of my brain is still interpreting an underline as "at or above" (maybe 37 years of active aviation has left me a bit inflexible... ). In addition to that the shorthand for clearance notification (as it still can happen on a few exotic airfield where the whole ATC clearance is given by radio only) also uses exactly the same symbology with either underlined, overlined or both. So as a conclusion: if there will be a vote I will vote for that Oskar
  2. Ok, the problem solved itself in the meantime Right after having written here an automatic Adobe update popped up offering a component for download and - hooray!! it obviously was the "missing link" Everything is perfect now and I can use my hundreds of airport diagrams in PDF format. Oskar
  3. While I'm still in the learning process and being more and more stunned by the extraordinary capabilities of EFB I came across the follwing small problem. If I'm correct I haven't seen it in the whole support section yet (maybe I was too lazy in searching?). I tried to access flight logs through the "modules" tab. Whenever I try to open one of the stored logs there is obviously an invoking error as the Adobe Viewer does not open but kind of a Adobe warning box (empty) with nothing but a question mark at the left top shows up. Any explanations for that? Opening the files directly in the explorer works fine. Oskar
  4. Well, there is no common charting standard however i.e. NACO and LIDO uses the following: UNDERLINED for altitudes AT or ABOVE OVERLINED (wonder what the correct expression for that is ) for altitudes AT or BELOW both UNDERLINED and OVERLINED for altitudes AT +/- signs are not used Whatever you use you should avoid a misleading combination of the two systems. Underlined AND a sign would be misleading. Oskar
