  1. Do you both have the latest version of FSUIPC installed? (5.132)
  2. Hi Kurt, I didn't either when I first saw this error message popping up long ago. But we do learn something new every day, don't we ? ? Great to have it working by now. Enjoy !
  3. Not really. First: those minima have nothing to do with the actual AIRAC cycle! Minima are either published individually for a certain airport or generally from a default file. Second: it might be interesting to correctly interprete the figures on the approach plate: They indicate the following: Approach Category D for RWY 34, MDA 770 ft, required min. visibility 750 m We supply a number of customized minima files with values that we have chosen. We always take the lowest of all minima applicable for the specific approach on the selected RWY. in this case the OCA for LPV apporach of 769 ft, rounded up to 770 ft Some reading in the User Guide would also improve the understanding of the what's and whereabouts of these customized minimum files. You can change their content any time to your liking,
  4. Yes, it is. https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/2522-forum-rules-read-before-post/
  5. Your scenery.cfg is faulty. The following entries at line Required= are missing a boolean variable (TRUE/FALSE? [Area.353] Title=UK2000 Norwich Xtreme Active=FALSE Required= Local=D:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\UK2000 scenery\UK2000 Norwich Xtreme Layer=353 [Area.354] Title=UK2000 Gatwick Xtreme Active=FALSE Required= Local=D:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\UK2000 Scenery\UK2000 Gatwick Xtreme Layer=354 [Area.355] Title=UK2000 Doncaster Xtreme Active=FALSE Required= Local=D:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\UK2000 scenery\UK2000 Doncaster Xtreme Layer=355 [Area.356] Title=UK2000 Prestwick Xtreme Active=FALSE Required= Local=D:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\UK2000 scenery\UK2000 Prestwick Xtreme Layer=356 Check your scenery.cfg editor.
  6. Here is a thread handling this kind of error. A quick search witch the keyword "Arial" reveals a few answers. For any reason your OS installation does not have the Arial Font istalled: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/2986-client-start-problem/?tab=comments#comment-18282
  7. Wrong server build. Should be #55. Did you keep it running for a prolonged time without shutting down? Did you try "check for updates" in the Server Menu?
  8. Hi Dave ? ( https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/2522-forum-rules-read-before-post/ ) Unfotunately we haven't used JOIN FS to date. In any case as long as you see the "buddy" traffic in your simulator, it must have been injected into it by any means. FSX/P3D handle all injected traffic equally, i.e. it does not distinguish from which source (own AI, VATSIM, IVAO online Traffic, Ultimate Traffic) its is injected. EFB v2 just reads all such traffic through FSUIPC and displays it. So the changes are indeed very high, that you will also see your friends using JOIN FS on EFB v2.
  9. Ah ok, the title is given by the A/C linked to the Checklist of course - my bad. Ok, then in any case we should publish it as "C172 P" Checklist inorder to avoid any discussions,
  10. Jonas, the Checklists are labelled C172S, therefore it should cover the procedures for that specific A/C (of course A2A's also...?). There are however two items showing up that need corrective action. 1. The C172S does not feature rudder trim. All reference to trim setting including rudder trim should be deleted 2. The C172S has an injected fuel engine. Therefore no carburetor heat is featured. All reference to carb heat shoud be deleted I haven't checked the Abnormal Checklist yet, but I'm afraid the same items will be supferfluous there too.
  11. Boah great! Will check and publish ASAP. Thanks Jonas!
  12. Hi Glen, Great that ou like our Vertical Guidance ! Your proposal has been discussed already during development. Not that I could give you any comprehensive or reliable statement as of yet, but in any case we might consider entering custom altitude restrictions into a routing in a future version of EFB v2. Regarding descent resctricitons within the active routing there is one important thing to observe: the descent is always calculated to the FAF (as displayed in the Approach Profile). Whatever altitude is give at the FAF it regarded as AT altitude (even if in the ARINC coding often this altitude is referred to as AT or ABOVE). Every restriction AT or ABOVE will be disregarded as long as it does not restrict the calculated descend angle as laid down in the respective aircraft Profile. That said it becomes obvious (as you mentioned) that it is not possible to reach a GS intercept at level flight. The recommendation is to fly the final segment before intercepting the GS at least 100 - 200 ft below indicated Vertical Guidance. As long as you don't allow your A/C to descend below the restricting altitude, you will at least get a short segment for level GS intercept.
  13. I'm still trying to find any setting that causes the described misbehavour. Yesterday I could cleary reproduce it by setting options to "unlimited fuel", today I can't even reproduce that. Whatever options I use, I have NEVER a 0/0 indication.
  14. Well, honestly, then I'm out of ideas. I have checked this many times and it behaves exactly the way I described with "unlimited fuel" ticked. When unticked it shows all required data. ATM I have no idea what could cause this apart from the "unlimitd fuel". So far these missing figures have not been reported yet either.
  15. Fantastic idea! Please share it with as many users as possible...??
  16. Ok, now: Shut down both Server and Client ! Change the above mentioned values in the ClientSetting.txt file to: AutoUpdateInterval = 0NextUpdateCheckDate = 20180721 Don ot change anything else and save the file Start the Client. It should now offer update to most recent version #72
  17. Ok, that's outdated by two versions. You need to update to #72. Look in the Client Settings: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Client\Settings, open the file "clientSettings.txt" with a common text editor. Report the content of the following lines: [AutoUpdate] AutoUpdateInterval = X NextUpdateCheckDate = XXXXXXXX but do not change anything here yet !! Please !
  18. Client please! You are reporting the Server Build #!
  19. What do ou mean by" my EFB is up to date?" Either you have a problem or your EFB is up to date ? Please report Server and Client Build #
  20. Sorry, no problems here with with both FSL A320 and A319. Both work flawlessly - both installed on two different computer systems each.
  21. I see. That makes everything clear. You are using the "unlimited fuel" options in your simulator setup ?. This way the simulator does not use any weight or fuel quantity.
  22. ? So can you confirm that you have now #72 Client installed ?
