  1. To delete those attachments, you need to go into the specific thread (link to the right side) and delete it there. Nevertheless I do not see any quota indicated and I have a filesize limit of 511 MB despite having 5 pages totalling 121 attachments. So I'm not sure what is going on in your browser. I would suggest to send the Logfiles to the support address indicated above.
  2. Hi Dane, Sorry, I have no clue what is inhibiting the upload of the required files into the forumthread. The max filesize is limited to >500 MB. I can do it without problems here. Did you use the upload utility at the bottom of the Edit Window? As an alternative you may send the files by Email to support(at)aivlasoft.com.
  3. Strange, this last set of Suppport Files clearly shows that the version of the Simulator cannot be read, and this clearly points to missing Admin rights. Are you sure that you are running the Server with full admin Rights enabled e.g. using this shortcut in the Properties Window (sorry it's in German, but looks similar in other languages):
  4. Hi Dane, Please post a set of support files according this thread: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3046-how-to-create-a-support-file/ and make sure that you always start the Server with full Admin Rights.
  5. Hi Henk, No, you don't have the same problem. You have a problem with an incomplete database. You might need to rebuild your database. It might also be necessary to exclude EFB data paths from your AV software. The Client reports "Airports database file not found!" According to the ServerLog it has been transferred but according to the ClientLog it could not be found in the Client Directory. My first guess would be that AV software playing havoc here.
  6. Hang on, I just noticed that there is a mismatch with the ILS courses. I need to investigate and be back as soon as there is a solution. EDIT: Corrected AFCAD is available. ILS frequencies and LOC layout adjusted. Seems to be wrong in the original FSDG install.
  7. The corrected AFCAD file is available in this section: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3005-afcad/ Please be aware that I did not change any of the other ground installations, such as PAPI, position of the LOC antennae etc. This is purely designers task and we don't want to interfere with that. FSDG might issue an update sooner or later to reflect the present state of the airport. The AFCAD solution offered in EFB v2 is primarily intended to allow Procedures Display for RWYs outside the official ARINC definition. Anyway, the procedures are back 😃:
  8. Hi Andrea, Yes, that's a very interesting case. As you can see in the attached Screenshot, the Ground Layout of VOBL as depicted by FSDG includes largely displaced thresholds on both sides, whihc are not present anymore in reality. The red overlay in the screenshot indicates the ARINC layout of the runway (Ctrl+Alt+A). If the difference between the AFCAD thresholds and the ARINC threshold exceed a certain distance, EFB will not accept the Ruway as a valid runway for obvious reasons. No procedure would fit to the (wrongly) depicted Runway. There are two remedies possible: 1) the User adjusts the BGL with the wrong THR distances by using ADE or 2) we will issue a new AFCAD for VOBL with the correct THR layout We cannot publicly recommend method 1) as this is a change in the original install und therefore will raise Copyright issues. We will therefore publish ASAP a corrected AFCAD file, to be used in conjunction with the rules laid down here: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3005-afcad/
  9. I do of course understand the ideas and questions that come up here, but I stll fail to understand WHY a Flightplan/Routing should be transferred FIRST into the Simulator (FSX/P3D). I understand that some people have nice goodie apps that are able to transfer directly into the Sim, but this is what EFB v2 does all the time. The moment you enter a Flightplan/Routing into EFB v2, it is also transferred into the Simulator. So, again: why into the simulator first and require some extra effort if all is done with one click anyway? Why would you require analyzing waypoints to recognize procedures, if all complete procedurs are available in EFB v2? Why replacing the rudimentary procedure depiction of the Default GPS: if you can have it completely displayed in EFB v2: The Default GPS is not capable anyway to display anything else that point-to-point routings. Sophisticated things like Intercepts, RF Legs, AF Legs are completely unknown to the GPS and must be interpreted by EFB v2. What kind of Changes/Manipulations in the GPS Flightplan do you intend to exercise? Adding Procedures? Adding Waypoints? Direct-to? All this can be done by far more conveniently in EFB v2. Furthermore EFB v2 also allows you to change a complete FlightPlan/Routing inflight, without ever interrupting the Simulator. ActiveSky does read the most recent *.pln file in the "C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\<Simulator> Files" path automatically, it the respective function is enabled. This is always done by reading the "EFB_current_gps.pln". So again this does not require additional inputs. So ... I obviously miss a few things... Maybe I'm just too inexperienced in the large Field of Aviation 😉
  10. Hi Karl, Great to hear that everything is back to normal now. Enjoy !
  11. Hi Mario, great to hear that EFB v2 is back to work 😃 ! Enjoy !
  12. Yes, there was definitely a bug in the Database Building Process sneaking in with the previous update. Thanks for reporting.
  13. Attention! Please refrain from cross-posting! https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3329-lost-airport/
  14. Hi Axel, EFB v2 compatibility is mainly dependent of FSUIPC, which is already compatible in version 5.14 (5.15 being the most recent but not ultimately required for P3D V4.4). There are no other restrictions as none of the data formats has changed. I personally use it from the beginning witout any problems.
  15. Hi Mario, What I see from your screenshot is that EFB v2 does not have a valid position. ATM I'm a bit out of ideas what has happened here as usually alwys the last position is carried over or taken from the selected aiport. It looks as if the selected airport CYEG has no position information...? Can you please start the Sim at CYEG and see what happens then? BTW, as long as there is no mismatch between the selected airport and the A/C profile (which should not be the case here) the airport filter can be left ON.
  16. Hi Mario, No, re-installing a software (no matter which) should always be the last resort. In this specific case the problem is within the database which would not be resolved by a re-install. If it still doesn't work properly after the Server Update, I would suggest to provide us with a set of Support Files as described here: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3046-how-to-create-a-support-file/ This will allow us to have a look into the databuilding process and possibly find the culprit. BTW, the best way to identify the processed BGL's for a specific airport is the (i) Information Window (example of LSGG installation):
  17. Hi Karl, No, EFB v2 works without problems with P3D V4.4. We are using it from the beginning. In addition I have no problems in seeing all procedures either for default KSFO or for the FlightBeam Addon Scenery of KSFO. Please post a set of Support Files (see here: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3046-how-to-create-a-support-file/ ), so we can analyze the problem. It can however also be a follow-up problem with the present Server #60, which has shown an error in database building. A corrected build #61 will be available soon. So I would propose to wait for the update and look into KSFO after a database rebuild with the new Server Build #61.
  18. Hello Charly, Please observe the Forum Rules. As we are an international Forum we are strictly using English for any queries. In this specific case we need more information about the Simulator in use, details about KSFO airport, whether AddOn or default, AIRAC cycle of the database etc.
  19. Hi Ralph, Thank you for your valuable feedback. We will take this onto our list of proposed changes for future implementation whenever it seems feasible.
  20. Hi Mario, We have just detected an error in the DatabaseBuilder Segment and are on the fly to issue a new Server Build. However I do not see why the default airport shoud not be displayed. In both of my installs it shows up normally - once as an ORBX Regional Airport and once as default - this however with the new database built by Server #61. For the moment I propose to wait for the new Server Update to build #61 which will be available within the next 24 hours if nothing unforseeable shows up.
  21. Hi David, Hold on with that item. I just checked a few things and I found something not very kosher going on in the database building process. For any unknown reason ORBX regional airports are not being processed anymore. We will be back as soon as a fix is available.
  22. Please post a set of Support Files: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3046-how-to-create-a-support-file/ BTW, did you run the Server with full Admin Rights?
