  1. Hi Steve, Please post a Support File https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3046-how-to-create-a-support-file/ Alternatively you could also post the latest logfiles for the server and each client to be found in their respective documents paths. I do not understand why you feel forced to continuously un- and reinstall? There is no reason to do so just because an error is showing up. That's why we have this support function with the logfiles. Reinstalling will never correct any misbehaviour as you are always installing the same files into the same path!
  2. Hi Roger, Apart from a restriction by the A/C profile I can't think of any other reason, as LXGB has a relatively short RWY. What A/C profile is active at your selection time?
  3. Rebooting the computer does the magic. This is a very rare error coming from .net that so far we were not able to completely eliminate.
  4. EFB uses default airports as long as there are no AddOn Airports. The default airports are the Simulator Providers's business as they are included in the default BGL's of the Simulator installation. In this context we are talking about ground layout and Navigational Aids. You may be aware that any aircraft can only tune navaids wich are provided by a BGL file. This is especially also true for ILS. Although of course a current AIRAC cycle (Navigraph or NavDataPro) contains all navaids currently available, they cannot be tuned if they are not contained in one of the Simulator's BGL files. In this specific case a BGL file with all three runways and all ILS's is required to allow all ILS approaches to be flown. This is a restriction of the Simulator, not EFB v2.
  5. Hi Davide, Check your ground layout of HECA. Do you use an AddOn or the default HECA from P3D? The old default layout only shows 05L/23R and 05C/23C. This is how the runways are assigned to present position. Press Ctrl-Alt A to show the actual (ARINC) Layout of the airport (see below). With the default the new runway is not present and thus no approaches are possible. An approach to 23 L would lead you into the nowwhere, although the ILS (which is only tuneable if present in a BGL, would lead you to RWY 23C, the former RWY 23L). The only remedy is to use an AddOn with the proper layout our to add the missing runway with ADE or a similar tool.
  6. Hi Rich, We can only draw what we have available in the ARINC dataset. If a holding is defined by direction and inbound track, we will use this information. If these data are missing but a holding is indicated, we simply draw a standard (right) pattern on the current inbound track. The entire holding database is unfortunately neither part of Navigraph nor NavDataPro. Usually only airline's FMC databases contain all those data.
  7. What do you mean with "meine Flugzeuge"? Which aircraft do you use? Does the GPS display show the active flightplan?
  8. Please follow the Form Rules: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/2522-forum-rules-read-before-post/
  9. Yes, that's how it works. See the extract from Manual "5 Client, page 92"
  10. please post the profile here so that we chan check. Edit: Did you restart the Client after creating a new profile?
  11. Tim, This would actually be a question for the Leonardo Forum. Nevertheless depending on the installation system (and my guess that Leonardo uses Lockheed Martin's Package System) the term "root folder" may be a bit different from what you are used from FSX' times. If the package system is used: http://www.prepar3d.com/SDKv4/sdk/add-ons/add-on_packages.html then indeed the file would be where you located it in the documents path. No idea though what the reason for the request in this forum may be...😄 If you need the information to set the proper name in a profile, then just use the air file you found in the document path (without the *.air extension of course). That will do the work.
  12. The entry in the "last modified" column shows the date and time of your last modification, as the title says. However two questions come into my mind: - why do you have two databases for the same simulator? How do you update the database after adding new scenery?
  13. I'm unable to understand the question. The current AIRAC cycle is 1902/R1. You can delete the outdated database with AIRAC cycle 1901/R1. Other than that nothing is wrong.
  14. You're welcome 😄 I'm retired, so every day is Sunday for me...😉
  15. Thank you Mario, There's not much that I can see. I'm wondering a bit about the content of the scenery.cfg. Although you posted a screenshot of the installation path of your sceneries, there is NO entry for any TropicalSim path! So, something seems to be quite "off course" with your scenery.cfg.This something that we can't correct from our side. There is also a warning that a scenery folder is missing.
  16. On the Server Menu bar: System -> Settings and more -> Button on the right with the Lifesaver -> Support File
  17. No. it's from the Client. I need the Server Support File
  18. Thanks a lot, Mario, however I would require the Server SupportFile... 😄 All database building files are in that compilation. Nevertheless it you tell me that the scenery is not listed in the scenery.cfg, then the Supportfile would not reveal any other things...
  19. Well, if it's not in the scenery.cfg then EFB is not able not read it. And you are sure that it is depicted correctly within your Simulator??
  20. Hi Mario, The file in question would most probably be the AF2_MYNN.bgl. Could you please create a support file and post it here? This might give us some more clues why this file was omitted. I take it that the airport is properly listed in the scenery.cfg? Edit: I see that you are running the Client on a remote computer. A support file from the Server (the button with the Livesaver) would be sufficient.
  21. Hi Mario, I take it that you use the "old style" scenery.cfg to administer the sceneries (the newer package system already being introduced but rarely used in P3D V3). The main question is, whether there is a useable AF2-type (AFCAD ground layout) BGL contained in the scenery. TropicalSim is one of the designers which does not provide this all the time in their older sceneries, because it is not really required for a scenery to display properly in P3D. Could you please post a screenshot of the contents of the "C:\Prepar3D v3\TropicalSim\NassauX\scenery\" folder? This would at least facilitate identification of the file in question. From there we could dig a bit deeper into investigation.
  22. No worries, Doug 😄 I moved it to the proper forum. To answer your question: No, this is - unfortunately - not possible, as there is nothing to distinguish between AI and Online traffic. It's all handled by FSUIPC the same way.
  23. Hi Robin, Not sure what you mean. I can open and close the same window as many times as I like and it always opens at exactly the same position. The position is always the same within the Screen, not within the EFB Client. Other than that I do not see what else I could tell you.
  24. Hi Robin, I use the same setup, however here at each startup the window positions are kept from its previous position. The mentioned ALT-Space and ALT-V are of course Windows standard commands that can be used on almost all windows. ATM there's only ONE window that does not keep its position, and that's the Airport Selection. I need to check why this position is not stored anymore. All other Client Windows have their position stored. The position remains internally stored and will be externally stored in the "clientSettings.txt" file in the Client's document path upon closure of the Client. That's at least how it is coded and how it works here. It may be somewhat difficult to find out why it does not in your installation. You might at least have a look at the timestamp of the mentioned file in the (standard) document path: "C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Client\Settings". It should always have the timestamp of the last closure of the Client. If not then there's someting running oddly...
