  1. Hi Robin, I think I see what you mean, however I'm not sure whether this is something EFB is dealing with. All windows keep their position within the screen. If you want to move the checklist window, just reposition the task bar inorder to have access to the top bar of the respective window and move it to the desired position and size. At next startup it will open at exactly the same position. To me it looks as if you had the whole Client window at a random position and not maximized by the window controls. Unfortunately your small cut-out of the screen does not give enough clues on that. That way it can of course hide the task bar and windows within the Client can be partially hidden. This is a Windows10 behaviour.
  2. Servers are running on 1803 and ONE client is running on 1809 (I have various computer systems running various simulators)
  3. Hello ??? (please refer to the Forum Rules) Could you please post a descriptive sceenshot of your complaint? I don't see any problems with the taskbar being on top. Neither on top or at the bottom covers any part of the EFB v2 client.
  4. And??? This is not the VATSIM forum!
  5. Hi John, It seems that EFB has no connection to P3D. Most likely you forgot to re-install FSUIPC, which is MANDATORY for EFB v2.
  6. Thanks Ray, for this information! I have also one client running on 1809 without problems, though not a Server yet.
  7. Yes indeed, it seems that those descriptions are missing 😀. We will insert that with the next revision. We thought however that the blue dots might be self-explanatory. Depending on the direction of the arrow they are depicting TOC (Top Of Climb) and TOD (Top Of Descent). The magenta dot is only awailable on descents from > 10'000 ft. and depicts passing 10'000 ft on the calculated descent path.
  8. Anthony, Just to make sure: this thread is about the Server not starting. Looking at your logfile it is the Client not connecting to the Server. This is something completely different.
  9. Ok I see. That's another issue then. It's a bit difficult to do troubleshooting if each and evey bit needs to be verified first before we're able to make a complete picture of your installation. Two things might be helpful: a) read the forum rules thoroughly: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/2522-forum-rules-read-before-post/ especially also the part about posting b) create a set of support files
  10. Ok, I see. If two programs try to use the same port number, then of course the first will "win" and the second will be locked out. In this case you need to change the port number for one of the two programs.
  11. Hi Anthony, The term "Firewall exemption" points to a connection problem on your computer. This has nothing to do with EFB. Do you run EFB Server and Client on the same machine?
  12. Well, EFB v2 is entirely dependend on .NET Framework and thus not written in C++, but in C#. So far we have no information from Microsoft regarding changes in Administrative Rights and -Access in the 1809 Autumn Build. Without thorough information we are unable to do any troubleshooting. The (.NET) Error Message in your logfile simply points to missing Admin Rights. We will of course investigate further but this can become a M.I. 😄 without more information.
  13. Could you please post the complete Support File?
  14. Please always start the Server with full Admin Rights (see Manual).
  15. I see that you have various other possibilities to create a problem with this BGL. Deselecting does not necessarily prevent it from being scanned. That's why you also need to check the "Scan all sceneries regardless of 'Active=True or False'" checkbox, whether it is checked or not. the default BGL for KMSP is usually part of \scenery\0202\scenery\APX23160.bgl. You can find the path in the "information" page. There you will also find the information which BGL file is actually used to draw the ground layout. All information that is accessible to all users... That's how it should look if the default BGL is used (looks similar in P3D V3.4)
  16. That sounds somewhat weird. I have the default KMSP loaded and it shows >150 gates in the taxi list! Same in the (i) Parking List. Do you see this behaviour also on other airports or only in KMSP. How did you disable the Add-On KMSP? Do you have the "Scan all sceneries regardless of 'Active=True or False'" Checkmark set or not?
  17. Hi Alex, Please remain in this forum thread. I have no clue what the reason for your problems could be. Without knowing your system exactly there is no troubleshooting possible, especially if you state that one month ago everything was normal. Please post a set of support files to allow some kind of analyzing.
  18. Hi Alex, Could you quantify the term "very, very slow" ? At my computer (ok, admittently quite performant) it takes around 8 secs...
  19. Hi Drikos, I see, that makes one profile for both, as we cannot distinguish types if the *.air file Name is identical. Luckily the weights are the same, so we only have to use a small "compromise" regarding the Name. Anyway I see by the MTOW that PMDG obviously uses the -ER model. The profile will be available soon in the "Contributions" section. Edit: Profile is up. See here: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3002-profiles/ If you need to change anything to your liking, feel free to use the Profile Editor.
  20. Hi Drikos, No, at this time there is no pofile for the MD-11 available. It is however not a big deal to create one. I need the following data from your model: - Max. Take-off weight - Max. Landing Weight - Name of the *.air file within the installation I will create a file for you and post it in the Contributions Section. Parameters that you deen unsuitable for you are easily changed with the Profile Editor.
  21. No clue either. The Uninstaller only removes files from within the datastructure of EFB. Are you sure that the "removed" files were not only linked icons? Linked icons pointing to a file within EFB's datastructure will of course be removed.
  22. 1.) EFB v2 Installer only deletes files in its own installation paths. "some of my other files" is a very unspecified desription. What exactly should that mean and how did you uninstall? 2.) About the activation of the account just read the manual (3 Server) and all questions are answered
  23. Hi Ruben, What does the Status Window look like? Are there any unusual messages? Could you also provide a set of Support Files? it is difficult to analyze a behaviour without having any information on the status of the Server/Client. To me it sounds like the Client were locked up by an unknown reason. This would be indicated by a message in the status window, e.g. like "loading.." which would indicate that the Client is not ready yet. This in turn would point to a database problem. Also, what is the configuration of your EFB/Simulator setup? Do you run all programs on the same computer or on a networked configuration?
  24. Well, Simulator in AMBER means that the Simulator is not connected. This is simply a warning. FSUIPC is a REQUIREMENT for EFB v2 (see manual). Of course EFB v2 will not connect to the Simulator if FSUIPC is missing..😎
