  1. Hmm, extracting the *.zip should not create a folder. It is a single zipped BGL file. It may depend on the way you unzip the file. In any case just copy the BGL file into the AFCAD folder and re-re-run the database updater as mentioned in the description. Great to hear that you have found your way. Enjoy!
  2. I see. Thanky ou very much! There is one "suspicious" file named "ZHBP_ADEX_ADE.bgl". It looks as if this file were created to "overrule" another BGL with the original ICAO-code LHBP. Unfortunately I can't see the size of the individual files. Could you please submit the two BGLs "ZHBP_ADEX_ADE.bgl" and "LHBP_ADE_FSX.bgl" to Urs on support(at)aivlasoft.com? We need to analyze those files. It could easily be that they play a bit havoc to EFB v2...
  3. Michel, I see that you are using LHBP from LHSimulations. Could you please post a screenshot of the content of the \Scenery folder in \LHS_LHBP_X? We might be on something there, but we need more information. Thank you for your cooperation.
  4. Yes, that's one of the principles of EFB v2 to omit RWYs, that are closed for take-off AND landing to both sides and a few other "specialities" used by scenery designers. The reason for that is described here: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3005-afcad/ You will also find an AFCAD file for FlyTampa's EKCH for download and use in the specially designed AFCAD directory. Just run the "update simulator" tab after inserting this file and eveything will be back to normal.
  5. Hi Michel, Sorting on layer numbering is independent of storing(installing) location. EFB v2 can access any installation location which is available in the scenery.cfg. We are currently working on it. It seems that the special way UTX is using the "UtEurAirports" subdirectory is giving problems with layer numbering. I take it that within this "UtEurAirports" directory there are numerous airport BGLs? Can you confirm that? Although some of our Betatesters use UT, we had no reports so far that this could cause problems. Unfortunately I for myself do not have UT installed. We have to investigate in the coding of this specific part of layer numbering. For the moment we are asking your patience as there is no workaround that we could recommend until we have the real cause. Thank you for your understanding.
  6. Hi Michel, Yes, that looks indeed strange. We will have to investigate what is happening in this specific case. Sorry for the inconvenience. We will be back to you soon.
  7. The entry in the field "airfiles names" is wrong. It has been changed for any unknown reason. That's the reason for EFB not properly recognizing the A319. This is the only answer that I can give. See the manual "5 Client", chapter "12.2 Profiles Editor" for proper naming. BTW, it would also be interesting to know which A319 model you are referring to, as there is more than one marketed.
  8. Hi Michel, EFB v2 builds the airport list according to the priority of the layer number, which seems to be 139 for the airport BGL in question. Airport Scenery added with the P3DV4 package system are added on top of that as they have no priority layer. To verify which BGL is used for ground mapping you can simply have a look at the Iinformation (i) window of the current airport, see example. The 1) file is used if there are multiple entries.
  9. Yes, if you have selected ActiveSky and ActiveSky is not running, it reads the old (latest) "current_wx_snapshot.txt". A very handy program for screenshots (or cutouts from any screen) is GreenShot: http://getgreenshot.org/
  10. Who did that A319 Profile? There is no need to make a new profile. Just use the existing A319 default profile. Apart from that whoever created the profile should read the manual first ?The entry in the field "airfile names" is wrong!
  11. Jürgen, This depends on the seleciton in the weather field on the main settings page (see below): To have the weather of the simulator displayed, just select "Simulator"
  12. What is the name of the *.air file of your C152?
  13. Chris, when it come to VATSIM/vpilot issues, you might want to wait until Jonas/Mr. ATC steps in again. He is the Online Expert. Edit: Ups, just one minute too late ? Jonas has already answered.
  14. Hi Michael, There is nothing that we can see in the dbBuilderLogfile alone. We always need to have the complete set of Support Files. In this case however I presume that the situation that you describe simply stems from the Aircraft Profile filter setting. If the RWY length of the initially selected airport is smaller than the minimum required RWY length in the Aircraft Profile, the airport will not be displayed. This is nomal behaviour for PRFLFiltering enabled. The airport shown in the title bar will be the closest fulfilling the necessary RWY requirements. My guess is that you presently use an Aircraft Profile of any kind with its minimum RWY requirement being longer than TNCM's RWY. You might want to initially disable the PRFL Filter And maybe at a later stage adjust the min RWY settings in the respective profile.
  15. Sorry Chris, Your photos are not helpful at all to see what you intend to show. Please use one of the many free screenshot utilities to provide meaningful pictures. From our side we have no reason to use SimConnect as it has many disadvantages over FSUIPC. The best means to check AI and Online Traffic is the traffic monitor. Whatever is in the traffic monitor is also in EFB v2. Nevertheless we should not forget that EFB v2 is not primarily a utility to show AI and Online traffic, it is an EFB. In addition to that I must also say that I use it daily several times on P3DV4 and never have the issues that you are reporting. in fact I do not use Online traffic but AI traffic at a pretty high setting and my traffic monitor shows a few pages of active traffic.
  16. Of course. Send it to "support(at)aivlasoft.com"
  17. Hi Christopher, Did you check the altitude limitation in the settings tab "Aircraft"?
  18. Thank you for the Support Files. We will analyze them and be back soon with a solution.
  19. No, it's most certainly NOT the same problem. Please describe the "Update" a bit more precisely and post the Support Files.
  20. Hi Alfredo, From the Client Screen it looks as if the database is not loading. This usually points to a connection problem. Have you tried closing and reloading the Client? if this does not help please post the supportfiles from Server and Client.
  21. It's mandatory! Please consider reading the Manuals.
  22. Hi Unknown??? (please observe the forum rules) Do you have the proper version of FSUIPC installed? Do you run the Server with Full Admin Rights?
  23. Hi Jonald ??? (pls observe the forum rules) This has been discussed already internally however for the time being we have not yet decided whether and how to proceed in this matter. It must also be said that this also grossly depends on the way you use EFB v2. I for my part e.g. use the procedure windows only to setup the procedure. Thereafter I will fly my route and see it with the appropriate zoom level as I'm approaching or entering it. This may be an interesting thing for Online pilots of which we might have a look at some point. However if we enter the "as real as it gets" state (as online-Flyers always try to...) wouldn't it be the responsibility of the Groung Gontrollers of the respective Airport (in this case GSX) to guide you to the correct gate (and maybe to an alternate parking if all standard gates are occupied)? A Ground Map with Country Labels is not planned at this stage. Maybe I'm missing something but you won't have this information in a RL A/C navigation screen either and to be honest, I don't see the benefit of such additional information. Ok, I must admit that maybe I'm too long in the aviation business to judge this ?
