  1. Hi Andrew, it seems to be a Navigraph problem. I will try to get in touch with them.
  2. Hi Andrew, which AIRAC cycle have you installed on your system and from which provider is it (Aerosoft / Navigraph)? Can you send me this FSCommander flight plan to support@aivlasoft.com? Thanks.
  3. Hi Björn, please send all the logfiles from both programs to support@aivlasoft.com. Maybe I can see therein what happens at startup.
  4. Hi Nigel, with 1.3.10 this should be fixed Can you send me the two files "firs.dat" and "fir.dat" for further inspections to support@aivlasoft.com? Thanks.
  5. Hi Nigel, which version have you installed?
  6. Hi Henk, this is not possible with version 1.x but I like the idea . Maybe possible with version 2.
  7. John, I don't see anything wrong in what you describe, but it seems that these shortcuts (bring to front and vice versa) only work if a chart or the flight log is displayed in the DisplayUnit.
  8. Hi, as per the forum rules, please sign your posts with your real first name. Thanks. Please make sure that the FSX window has the focus. Only then the shortcut can be recognized.
  9. Hi John, Just have a look at the bottom right of the DisplayUnit screen. In the status bar you will see which cycle is loaded.
  10. Jean-Louis, from the download page of our website you can download the data files which originally came with the Eye. You can save them in a folder at your discretion. Make sure the folder name in the settings points to that folder where you have saved the files. Of course you can also use your own data files which must still be in the folder which you have mentioned (C:\Program Files (x86)\IVAO\The Eye\data). I'm aware of that The Eye is no longer supported and therefore the day will come when the data files that we all have locally on the hard disks will be outdated. If there is someone around who has a very good contact to the IVAO officials, it is most welcomed to ask there for updated data.
  11. Hi John, If you like to install the DisplayUnit on a PC which is connected by a wireless LAN, please make sure that the wireless LAN is not 'too slow'. Otherwise you might run into problems. If you have a look at the installation and configuration manual, section 1, page 10 (step 3) you see that the installer allows to select which component shall be installed. If you just want to install a DisplayUnit on another PC than the PC which is running FSX (and the DataProvider), run the installer and only select the DisplayUnit. That's all. The full installer of EFB includes a free (but meanwhile a bit old) version of an AIRAC cycle from Navigraph (IIRC it's 1101). The update of EFB doesn't include such an installer. To get up-to-date AIRAC cycles from either Aerosoft or Navigraph you have to subscribe to their products. Further details can be obtained by visiting their website. Once you have a new AIRAC cycle installer, you have to run it on the FSX computer (where the DataProvider is also installed). The installer will recommend you a folder like [FSX]\AivlaSoft, where [FSX] means the installation path for FSX. If you don't use the default path for the AIRAC cycles please don't forget to adjust the path in the settings of the DataProvider. The EFB DataProvider always has to be installed on the same computer than FSX is installed. The DataProvider has its own built in code base to connect to each DisplayUnit within a private network. The DataProvider only uses SimConnect to connect to FSX, but not to connect to the DisplayUnit(s). Hope this helps.
  12. Hi Alvaro, 1) Subscribe with Navigraph to get each AIRAC cycle 2) Download the AivlaSoft EFB installer from their website 3) Run the installer on the FSX computer 4) Restart DataProvider EFB doesn't support such a feature in version 1.
  13. Hi, as per the forum rules, please sign your posts with your real first name. Thanks. Could you please be more specific. By the way, EFB is using simulator data to depict the airport charts. Navigraph Charts are created using real world data. So in my opinion it's obvious that there are differences between these charts. The chart in EFB is not interactive, you're right.
  14. Hi, as per the forum rules, please sign your posts with your real first name. Thanks. Did you already run the "Scenery data update" from the DataProvider's menu?
  15. Curt, which cycle do you use? Which provider (Aerosoft/Navigraph)?
  16. Hi, according to the forum rules, please sign your posts with your real first name. Thanks. If you mean that EFB doesn't depict all airways in a certain region then you're right. But if you create a route, EFB supports airways. Please read the operations manual, section 5, starting at page 8. Just press the "Select" button from the Route Setup dialog, then a dialog appears where you can enter (or copy/paste) any route description which is according to the description in the manual (section 5, page 8). Hope this helps.
  17. Ivan, on the second screenshot from the DataProviders window I can see that there is an exception message concerning loading of the flight plan into FSX. Please verify whether the folder settings for the FSX flight plans are set properly. It must be the folder "%Documents%\Flight Simulator X Files" (whereas %Documents% is a placeholder for the MyDocuments path on the computer (e.g. C:\Users\Ivan\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files). Maybe this helps?
  18. Hi, Please send your request to support@aivlasoft.com. Thanks.
  19. Alfredo, that's indeed strange ... Would it be possible that you send me your IVAO data files (firs.dat, fir.dat, airports.dat, countries.dat) to support@aivlasoft.com? I will then try to reproduce it here on my system. Thanks.
  20. Alfredo, No. Disregard my answer. That was rubbish, sorry. I must have ignored that you are talking about centers and not airports. I did some tests today and 'injected' LECB_N_CTR and LECM_NE_CTR into the data stream so it looked like they were online. No problem so far, both centers did appear in the frequency ribbon at the top of the chart. The cause of not showing up must be elsewhere. Coming back to your initial post where you describe " ... in this moment in Webeye I can see two CTR: LECB_N_CTR and LECM_NE_CTR that don't show up in EFB". Maybe that's the cause, WebEye is not the same than the so called "whazzup" data stream which is used by the AivlaSoft server. Maybe these two centers were not contained in that data stream at that time?
  21. Stephen, finally I see it ... you must change the identifiers on each line. First identifier is FSX, second is navigation data: EGSS 05 04 EGSS 23 22
  22. James, which version of EFB have you installed? Please make sure you have the latest version 1.3.9. IIRC there was a bug fix concerning this issue some versions ago.
  23. Hi Alfredo, maybe the cause is that neither LECB nor LECM is available in FSX stock airports.
