  1. Hi, as per the forum rules, please sign your posts with your real first name. Thanks. Could you please be more specific. By the way, EFB is using simulator data to depict the airport charts. Navigraph Charts are created using real world data. So in my opinion it's obvious that there are differences between these charts. The chart in EFB is not interactive, you're right.
  2. Hi, as per the forum rules, please sign your posts with your real first name. Thanks. Did you already run the "Scenery data update" from the DataProvider's menu?
  3. Curt, which cycle do you use? Which provider (Aerosoft/Navigraph)?
  4. Hi, according to the forum rules, please sign your posts with your real first name. Thanks. If you mean that EFB doesn't depict all airways in a certain region then you're right. But if you create a route, EFB supports airways. Please read the operations manual, section 5, starting at page 8. Just press the "Select" button from the Route Setup dialog, then a dialog appears where you can enter (or copy/paste) any route description which is according to the description in the manual (section 5, page 8). Hope this helps.
  5. Ivan, on the second screenshot from the DataProviders window I can see that there is an exception message concerning loading of the flight plan into FSX. Please verify whether the folder settings for the FSX flight plans are set properly. It must be the folder "%Documents%\Flight Simulator X Files" (whereas %Documents% is a placeholder for the MyDocuments path on the computer (e.g. C:\Users\Ivan\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files). Maybe this helps?
  6. Hi, Please send your request to support@aivlasoft.com. Thanks.
  7. Alfredo, that's indeed strange ... Would it be possible that you send me your IVAO data files (firs.dat, fir.dat, airports.dat, countries.dat) to support@aivlasoft.com? I will then try to reproduce it here on my system. Thanks.
  8. Alfredo, No. Disregard my answer. That was rubbish, sorry. I must have ignored that you are talking about centers and not airports. I did some tests today and 'injected' LECB_N_CTR and LECM_NE_CTR into the data stream so it looked like they were online. No problem so far, both centers did appear in the frequency ribbon at the top of the chart. The cause of not showing up must be elsewhere. Coming back to your initial post where you describe " ... in this moment in Webeye I can see two CTR: LECB_N_CTR and LECM_NE_CTR that don't show up in EFB". Maybe that's the cause, WebEye is not the same than the so called "whazzup" data stream which is used by the AivlaSoft server. Maybe these two centers were not contained in that data stream at that time?
  9. Stephen, finally I see it ... you must change the identifiers on each line. First identifier is FSX, second is navigation data: EGSS 05 04 EGSS 23 22
  10. James, which version of EFB have you installed? Please make sure you have the latest version 1.3.9. IIRC there was a bug fix concerning this issue some versions ago.
  11. Hi Alfredo, maybe the cause is that neither LECB nor LECM is available in FSX stock airports.
  12. Hi, according to the forum rules (see at the top of each page), you have to sign your posts with your real first name. We like to know to whom we're talking. Thanks. Development of new features in version 1.x has been stopped quite some time ago. Version 2.x will allow the change of the ICAO identifiers.
  13. Hi Brian, on the download page we have some ... http://www.aivlasoft.com/download/index.html
  14. Hi Alfredo, please read this one: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1347 Hope this helps.
  15. To understand the data flow when flying online it must be distinguished between three different data sources: A) Static data: Static data contains information about FIR boundaries and names. It is read once at startup. Static data comes from local data files which originally came from the desktop applications "The Eye" (IVAO) or "ServInfo" (VATSIM). These files can also be downloaded from the AivlaSoft download page. Dynamic data (low refresh rate): The information about active flights/pilots and active controllers is downloaded from the AivlaSoft server and is refreshed every 5 minutes for IVAO data and every 2 minutes for VATSIM data. We cannot change this intervals, they have been prescribed by the online network officials. C) Dynamic data (high refresh rate): "Traffic" data about other aircraft (position, altitude, speed, etc), provided from the pilot client software like "IvAp" (IVAO) or "FSinn"/"SquawkBox" (VATSIM). The pilot client software is sending this data to FSX (via SimConnect) and is read by EFB via SimConnect. Known issues: Everyone can observe online traffic with freeware tools like "VATSpy", "ServInfo", or via the IVAO "WebEye" just to name a few. Using these tools and programs does not always show the identical information like the dynamic data which is downloaded via the AivlaSoft server mentioned above (. This is due to the different intervals which are used to retrieve the latest data. If controllers are using callsigns ( which are not defined in the static data files (A) it can happen that EFB cannot determine which FIR is controlled by the controller. As a result of this an active ATC might not be shown in EFB. SimConnect is used by a lot of add-ons and advanced aircraft too (e.g. PMDG 737 NGX, Majestic Dash 8). If there are too many requests from all these programs, SimConnect gets overloaded. In such a situation it might happen that traffic data is no longer forwarded to EFB and as a result of this EFB cannot show traffic data anymore.
  16. Hi Apostolos, I think that 'overloading' has different causes on different systems because all the configurations are different. Each user should try to figure out which add-on is the cause on its system.
  17. Hi Stephen, You cannot assign a certain runway twice. The assignments you made in the runways.txt file set both runways 4 and 22 to 'nil'. The following two assignments are no longer considered. I guess you should remove the lines with the 'nil' argument.
  18. Thanks Wil for your feedback. "TOU180010" is not supported, therefore you cannot find it in the manual.
  19. Hi did you already try to search for "0xC000014B" using the search function on the top right of this forum? I'm sure you will get a lot of hints. There is also a posting in the FAQ section: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=145 BTW: according the the forum rules please sign your posts with your real first name. We like to know to whom we're talking. Thanks.
  20. Wil, a very detailed explanation of "what is possible" and "what is not possible" can you find in the operations manual, section 5, starting at page 8.
  21. Hi Stephen, which EGSS scenery do you use, stock scenery or UK2000 or other? which provider do you use (Navigraph or Aerosoft)? which cycle have you installed? If you have added some lines to your runways.txt file, can you show the lines herein?
  22. Thanks very much Andy for the explanation. I think it will answer Craig's question. @Craig, I think that the screenshot is no longer required, thanks anyway.
  23. Craig, which scenery are you using? Stock or third party? Would it be possible to show a screenshot? You may also send it to support@aivlasoft.com. Thanks. William, I don't own the Aerosoft EDDF scenery. Could you send me a screenshot? Thanks.
  24. Hi, according to the forum rules (rule #4) you have to sign your posts with your real first name. Thanks. Please carefully read this post from the FAQs: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1260 Hope this helps.
  25. Fatback, according to the forum rules (rule #4) you have to sign your posts with your real first name. Thanks. EFB reads all the airport data (which includes communication services) from the BGL data. If there is no frequency listed at the top of the chart, most probably there is no frequency available for that airport. Are you talking about communication radios or navigation radios? Which airport to you mean? Does it happen when you fly online or offline? Does it happen on all chart types or only on the enroute chart? (if so, then that's OK, on enroute charts you will not see any com frequencies)
