  1. Data Provider showed a warning: Navdata runway ident 28R at airport KSFO could not be assigned to FSX runway. The next line was Available FSX runway at this airport are as follows: 10L, 28R, 10R, 28L, 01R, 19L, 01L, 19R. When I looked into wpnavapt.txt in my FSX\Aivlasoft\Navdata, under KSFO, runway 28R had 2 definitions. Any idea what might be the issue? Could this be Navigraph's error? Since I only purchased 1304 1 cycle data, I couldn't verify this against 1305 or the brand new 1306 release! 2. Thanks, Urs, that's great! Best, James
  3. Just FYI - if you are thinking to install DU on one machine, e.g., a Laptop, and you are running FSX and DP on another, e.g., a Desktop PC. After numerous email discussions with Urs, I figured out I needed to change my PC and Laptop folder security settings to make this work. Using the Shared Name defined with each folder (on the PC side: Flight Simulator X Files for Documents\Flight Simulator X Files and Routes for Documents\Aivlasoft\EFB\UserData\Routes), plus assigning Sepcial Permissions for HomeUsers (I'm using Win 7 Ultimate 32bits on both machines) to these two shared folders, I was able to point to these two folders from my Laptop with full permission to Read/Write files in there. Now I can create/modify/save flight plans from DU on my PC or DU on my Laptop depending on the availability of my Laptop at the time of the flight. FSX picked up my flight plans from its default Documents\Flight Simulator X Files folder without a problem. Good luck, James
4. On a distributed installation, I had the DataProvider and FSX on a desktop PC running Windows 7 32bit Ultimate and DisplayUnit on a separate Windows 7 Ultimate Laptop. EFB performs until DU tried to save a route to the desktop PC's FSX flight plans folder in My Documents\Flight Simulator X Files. I got a popup "Destination Folder Access Denied" and "You need permission to perform this action". I have the PC and Laptop in the homegroup and set all sharing options correctly. I would very much appreciate it if those of you, who have done the distributed installation and have successfully saved FSX flight plans to its default folder in My Documents to give me some ideas! Thanks in advance, James
  5. Hi, Thanks for your prompt response. Please see my answers below: - It can be reproduced - I activated the route when the A/C was on the ground, but with engines running. I didn't start as Cold and Dark. I'll try and report back. - I sent the .efbr file I used to support email address. Thank you very much! James
  6. Hi I noticed when I flew between two airports, the Way Point data displayed on the Flight Information Panel was always fixed at the very last waypoint defined for the active route. The DisplayUnit plotted the aircraft along the route nicely, just somehow the Flight Information Panel couldn't pick up the correct NEXT waypoint to display! Thanks, James
