  1. Thanks Urs and Alvaro. Now in wired mode. Done. DisplayUnit is installed on 'display' laptop. I installed the latest FMS data in the default FSX folder. I notice that under 'Settings/Folders and Links' (as seen in the laptop DisplayUnit) the path to the Navigraph FMS data folder is not mentioned. There is an empty path for FSX Flightplans. Not sure what to put in here. I guess this should be '//ServerPC/Documents/Flight Simulator X Files' on the LAN. All understood. But I still have a some problems.... EDIT: This is fixed now. I reset the folder paths to the FSX machine. 1. When I open the DisplayUnit on the laptop all I get is a screen with 'Settings' options. I do not get the AivlaSoft splash screen with a menu on the left side. 2. How do I know from the DisplayUnit that it is reading the latest 1307 FMS data and not the older default data? EDIT: still not sure about this. As things stand it looks to me as if the DisplayUnit on the laptop is not connecting with the DataProvider on the FSX machine. EDIT: It is connecting now. John
  2. First post so thanks for having me on the boards. I've just installed download version 1.3.10.25024. I run FSX Gold (Acceleration) and W7 x64. I am not clear about a few things. I wish to run EFB from a 'client' laptop on a wireless LAN. I have installed EFB on the FSX machine. The installation document says that I should install the Display Unit on the viewing machine (client) but it doesn't say how to do this. Am I supposed to make a full install of EFB on the laptop machine? If so how do I install the Display Unit without installing the Data Provider? Second, I run Navigraph off my laptop. It is not installed on my FSX machine. When I ran the installer on the FSX machine there was no option under for Navigraph data. Did I miss something? Last, I run AS2012 off my laptop via Simconnect. This works perfectly. Will running EFB from the same laptop cause problems? I like the look of the program very much - there's just these few teething problems to sort out. I'd be glad of advice. John
