  1. As I already said, this can only be done with a new AFCAD file.
  2. Sunil, VAGO - Dabolim Navy, Goa (West-India) is part of the stock scenery and it is available in EFB (at least on my system). VOBL a replacement for VOBG and is not part of the FSX stock scenery.
  3. Sunil, EFB can only show airports which are part of your current FSX installation. If you would like to add or replace airports, you must do this by adding/replacing so called AFCAD files. Please "google" for "fsx afcad". After adding/changing such files, please do not forget to run a "scenery database update" from the DataProviders "Data" menu.
  4. Ray, Please read my post above and calm down. I already answered your question (... the keyboard cannot be resized). In other words, there is currently no solution available to hide the numeric pad.
  5. Mark, are you talking about the Aerosoft scenery? Is anybody else out there who experienced the same problem?
  6. Thanks Tony for this post. I just added some lines to the mentioned FAQ post. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=939
  7. Peter, there is no "trick", just assign the runways . Here is what the DataProvider shows: Navdata runway ident 08 at airport LOWL could not be assigned to FSX runway Navdata runway ident 26 at airport LOWL could not be assigned to FSX runway Available FSX runways at this airport are as follows: 09, 27, 09L, 27R If you open the "runways.txt" file (using any text editor) you can read detailed instructions on top of the file. You must assign the runways according to the schema "ICAO - FSX runway - Navigraph runway". For LOWL: LOWL 09 08 LOWL 27 26 LOWL 09L 09L LOWL 27R 27R You always must assign all runways, whether they have changed or not (for LOWL 09L and 27R have not changed but must be assigned too). After these changes have been applied, do not forget to reset the airport cache (DisplayUnit settings, miscellaneous), or restart the DisplayUnit.
  8. EFB does not support P3D. For more information please do a search for "Prepar3d" or "P3D" in this forum.
  9. Hi Ray, I'm sorry, but there is no possibility to resize the keyboard. What resolution does the screen have?
  10. Thierry, yes, there was an update but it seems that it was not enough ...
  11. Clive, thanks for the error report. Unfortunately there is not much more to read. Could you please have a look at the event viewer again to see whether there are other entries from the DataProvider? If there are some more entries, could you copy/paste them into a txt-file and send it to support@aivlasoft.com? Thanks very much for your cooperation.
  12. Hi Pete, the file "LEAL_ADE9_ADE.BGL" seems to be a FS9 file. This could be the cause of the problem you encountered.
  13. Hi, as per the forum rules, please sign your posts with your real first name. Thanks. I think that the route modify page is not the best place to create a route from scratch. Did you already try to create a new route using the ATS route description which you easily can copy/paste into the textbox (Route Setup > Select > "Enter route description"). Details see "Operations manual", section 5, page 8 ...
  14. Clive, thanks for uploading the files. I can see that the DataProvider seems to stuck when it tries to analyze some stock scenery data. Usually this means that your FSX installation seems to be corrupt. But first we should try to find out where exactly the DataProvider quits. Do you know the Windows System Event Viewer? You can open it like this: - Open Windows Start Menu - Select "Administrative Tools" - Select "Event Viewer". This will start the Event Viewer. After some seconds the tree in the left pane should be populated. - Open the "Windows Logs" branch and select "Application". Now the middle pane gets filled. - Scroll down until you find a row which has a "Error" sign in the colum "Level". Select this row. In the lower middle pane you see the details about this row. If the details are showing the name "DataProvider" as the source you have found what we're looking for. Can you copy/paste the content of the "Details tab"?
  15. Ryan, welcome aboard. The error message "Could not read 'scenery.cfg' due to following error: String was not recognized as a valid Boolean" means that your scenery.cfg is corrupt. This can happen during the installation of a scenery when the installer tries to update the scenery.cfg. You can easily fix the problem as follows: 1) Locate the scenery.cfg and open it using any text-editor like "notepad.exe". On Windows Vista and Windows 7 systems the file can be located as follows: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX\scenery.cfg 2) Every entry for a certain scenery consists of the following lines: [Area.120] Title=Edwards_AFB Local=Scenery\Cities\Edwards_AFB Layer=120 Active=TRUE Required=FALSE Somewhere in your scenery.cfg one or more of these lines are mixed up and EFB cannot recognize the value "TRUE" or "FALSE" because there is some more data on the same line, which is not allowed. After a "TRUE" or "FALSE" value it must be blank.
  16. Bernd, please check your inbox. I sent you the email as a private message.
  17. Pete, when you selected EGCC as the airport, did you get a warning message from the DataProvider, like "could not assign runways ..."?
  18. David, please send me a better quality screenshot and all the logfiles to support@aivlasoft.com. Thanks. I will see where the program quits.
  19. Hi David, Something must have been changed on that system. Did you install a new software? Did you uninstall any software? Did you change any settings?
  20. Bernd, I guess that the installation of Kai Tak is the cause of the problem. Could you send me the logfiles from the DataProvider (incl. scenery-update log) to support@aivlasoft.com? Thanks.
  21. Hi Richard, did you already try to add it like described in the post before? From my point of view it seems to be the same situation.
  22. Hi Steve, thanks for sending the logfiles. From the DataProvider's logfile I can see that every now and then FSX unexpectedly terminates with the error message: "Exception from HRESULT: 0xC000014B". It seems that in such a situation the DataProvider can no longer close the connection to FSX properly and an exception is thrown. Please read also here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=145 I'm afraid that I cannot really help since the cause of the problem is beyond EFB.
  23. Brian, you're welcome! And many thanks for your feedback.
