Do you have revision 2 or later of the latest AIRAC that is the most important thing to be sure of as the initial release had problems.

There is no need to buy a new key when upgrading your computer and yes it works perfectly well with Windows 7, that is what I use myself.

Are you running FSX in fullscreen mode? If you are press ALT and Enter at the same time and that will toggle FSX between Fullscreen and windowed mode, once you are in windowed mode EFB should work as it did before.

Hi Glen, If you have changed the default Windows display theme to something different then items like this can appear not to function correctly.

Have you got "Create Garmin GPS flight plans" enabled in EFB then because it might not be selected by default. It is in the Misc tab of the EFB display unit settings menu.

I can't remember whether the default GPS is installed in the Airbus or not as standard. Maybe before the reinstall you added it to the panel.cfg yourself and that's why it worked before. It's been a while since I used the AirbusX hence the vagueness of my reply.

As far as I remember you don't have to have a PayPal account to pay for something through PayPal, they are a payment processor as well like Sagepay or Esellerate or whatever they are called.

I seen this happen for quite a while so I don't think it's anything to do with that update, as I said though nothing untowards ever happens, it's probably a timing issue and something is trying to read from a memory address that is no longer available.

I see the exact same error when exiting the sim from time to time, it's nothing to worry about as far as I can see as nothing bad happens the next time I load the sim or EFB.

I wouldn't rename it as its likely to cause performance problems as FSX will waste CPU cycles searching for the file, its a base scenery file that should not be removed and hence the reason why GEX AFME replaced it with an empty file so it won't display anything in the sim and FSX wont waste time looking for a missing file.

Grab the cross bar at the top of the main viewing pane with your mouse and drag it down, I noticed it disappear on me once too, no idea why.

The MD11 can import FSX created flight plans so it will work with EFB no problem at all as long as you have the EFB Display option highlighted below enabled. Type in the MD11 FMC flight plan field the departure and destination airport thus EGGP/LSGG for example and a list of available plans for that airport pair in the default FSX flight plan folder will appear, just make sure you build the plan in EFB and activate it before trying to find it in the MD11 FMC. Whether the above works in the JS4100 as well I'm not sure, I don't have it installed at the moment to check.

Cant you just save the plan in FS2004 format in FSC, EFB can import those no problem at all.

For anyone who has tried to use the iPad with the actual Gauges in FSX and failed please read my findings that I posted over at AVSIM a short while ago, I'm pretty pleased as you may be able to tell from the post, lol.

Try loading it with the FS2004 option instead.

Yeah it does work fine, you just need to Alt-Tab to the correct window first before Windows 7 will enable the move and cascade menu items, if you don't they remain greyed out. Thanks. I vote this post for moving to the FAQ section

Sound isn't going anywhere Mike, when you move to EFB and start interacting with it FSX loses focus, this results in no sound being produced until you click somewhere in the FSX window to interact with something there again. This activity isn't unique to EFB, all programs that take focus away from FSX when you interact with them will result in the same loss of sound. Regarding the error I'll have to defer to Urs and Travis, I have no idea sorry.

Hi Derek, here are some pictures of a route from a couple of Japanese airports, using the Navigraph data and default airports. Please forgive the slightly cramped view on the Approach chart, its because the shots were taken on my iPad and the screen is a little small.

Thanks Urs, yes it works very well indeed. Another thought for you, you might consider turning the day and night buttons into just one button instead of two, and just have its icon change to reflect what the next press of the button will do.
