  1. Steve, If a route is saved in the EFB v1/v2 native format (.efbr) it may contain any kind of waypoints. If one of them is not part of the actual AIRAC cycle, the routing waypoints will be prefixed by an asterisk (*) but will load anyway. In the uplink function only routes compatible to the actual AIRAC dataset (not necessarily the newest) are allowed. In your case you might need to create a new routing manually and save it in the native .efb format. Then you will be able to load it any time and it will also show up in the company routing directory.
  2. In EFB v1 there was also a link for VATROUTE, but unfortunately VATSIM has withdrawn this service. So ATM the only free planning service (to my knowledge) is RouteFinder.
  3. And what do you expect from EFB v2? That it transfers a Flightplan into an FSL Airbus???? ? This is not possible and nobody ever promised that. When talking about automatic transfer it concerns the DEFAULT GNG/GPS of FSX/P3D. EFB v2 does not export in any custom formats.
  4. Lukas, What A319 Add-on do you use here?
  5. It should be added here that the Uplink function is only available Preflight on Ground. Inflight no update of the Flightplan is possible. We are however considering this possibility for a later Version Update.
  6. Great to have this sorted! Enjoy EFB v2 ?!
  7. Hm, I wouldn't call that "normal" when almost every folder is out of sync. Why do you install EFB v2's data structure on your cloud drive? Have you redirected your domcuments folder to the cloud? Not a good idea for time critical processes. This may or may not work. IMHO EFB v2 is not designed to work with its data structure in a cloud, but Urs will have more insight on that. In any case I'm sure that the cloud is one of the main culprits in this whole setup.
  8. I guess this is the same isue as already discussed here: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/2906-import-company-routes/ When you shutdown EFB v2 last time the A/C was airborne. Remember that EFB v2 always remembers the last position of the A/C on shutdown (no matter whether the Sim crashed or was deliberatley shut down). In this case you need to start the Simulator to reset the A/C position. Al Flightplan selection can only be done when the A/C is on ground.
  9. Not so odd. Please check the User Guide "Client", chapter 4 User Interface. It's called the System Menu!
  10. Check whether your actual cruising altitude is equal to what is displayed on the sidebar as your planned cruising altitude.. If necesssary adjust your cruise altitude with the respective button on the RSB.
  11. Open the Main Menu of the Client (Button in the lower left corner). This should be possible even if the Client tries to find an (inexistent) Server. Then click the Button below the title "Server Location". Answer the restart hint with "Yes". In the next window you should be able to change the IP address.
  12. Thanks Vincent! I'll add this to our collection to keep it ready for later use.
  13. Ok, thanks very much. That's now a point where we can start troubleshooting. the first question is: do you RUN (not only install) the Server as Admin? This is one of the initial requirements for EFB v2.
  14. Ok gentlemen, maybe we should use a fresh start. Even if it sounds terrible, I would suggest that you uninstall both Server and Client, download the newest Server and Client and start a fresh database. This is a matter of a few minutes. If an error occurs, create the support files from the Window Start Menu and put it in here. There is no reason to play around with tips and trick at this stage ?.If the Database Creation Process does not run properly, then we need to have the logfiles. That's the only practicable way for troubleshooting.
  15. Great to hear that you finally sorted it out. Happy Flying!?
  16. Be aware that Windows Vista is not supported by EFB v2. See User Guide "Installation" Para 1.2 System Requirements
  17. Actually no, this should not be the case, if you do an AUTOMATIC Update. If you however do it by downloading the Installer and thus re-installing then yes, but this is not the "ordinary way". EFB v2 checks once per day for a new update and offers automatic download und update of the necessary files. This should leave the settings and such untouched. Same for the Client.
  18. The client has not yet been updated!
  19. Starting the simulator and starting EFB v2 will reset the position to the startup location of the Simulator. There is no other reset possible or necessary. If a Flightplan is still active, it can be deleted/cleared by the method above. Are you telling that EFB v2 position is not reset when starting the Simulator? This would point to an abnormal situation and we would require the lofgiles after starting up both EFB and Simulator.
  20. We have seen this issue also on other fsAerodata Scenery Files updates. For some reasons fsAerodata duplicates a few airports. This is beyond EFB v2's scope as it is a third party change of "internal" navdata that we unfortunately have no influence on.
  21. Hi Dekel, this has been discussed here: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/2868-x-plane-next-please/ We don't have a roadmap so far but of course we will keep the community informed as soon as news are worth being published ?
  22. After replying "Yes" the DatabaseBuilder should open and you have to select the "Update Simulator" tab to initialize the databuilding process. Do not select "Update Navdata"!
  23. Yes, Vincent, this is is a good idea. We are planning a few repositories, not only for Minima files but also for AFCAD files, in case a Ground Layout is not porperly drawn. Stay tuned!?
  24. Yes, the Vertical Guidance is controlled individually via each A/C's Profile. As a first thing the "Vertical Guidance" chekmark must be set on the "Options" tab. Furthermore a few conditions must be fulfilled, to be found under "Vertical Guidance" and "Profile Editor" in the Client User Guide (Chapters 8.3 and 12.2)
