  1. Hey Roland First, I would make sure the issue is really originating again from FS Aerodata. For this, deactivate the scenery entries for FS Aerodata and update the EFB database. If the double entries are gone by then, report the specific navaids best directly to FS Aerodata.
  2. AIRAC is yellow because you are using not the current one (1802 vs. 1808). Can you place your aircraft somewhere on the ground and load other aircraft models? Does the issue exists for all aircraft or only specific ones?
  3. And you have the EFB server and the simulator running with admin rights?
  4. Peter, your status in the sidebar shows that there is no connection to your simulator (indicated by the yellow text "Simulator"). Maybe it helps to post a support file of your EFB server (see FAQ).
  5. Could be an issue of the scenery priorities. Because the old file still seems to be around. I don't know the scenery, but I could image the folder you showed is the old version. Did you a special setup in v1 to get the new ground layout there? When did you create the database for v1 the last time? Can you provide the servers log file (see FAQ)?
  6. With admin rights? Please follow exactly the manual.
  7. But GW and FOB are dynamic, so they change during the flight. This is flight phase EFB covers. ZFW and LOAD are needed for planning, as Oski mentioned, and they are fix. EFB doesn't aim to cover this phase of preparation, hence the values are not needed. The only situation that comes into my mind where load would change in-flight, is for parachute or fire fighting. ?
  8. What VATSIM client do you use? Did you run it with admin rights?
  9. So you say the traffic monitor is wiped then you lift off? That's hard to believe. You get targets on the ground but non in the air? Is there actual traffic in the air? Maybe you can post a screenshot, this usually helps to identify the issue.
  10. What I tried to explain, as long as there is no direct/automated interaction, it makes no sense to include a webview. There is no benefit to the functionality of EFB, just two separate functions. So this should be two separate applications.
  11. Then you didn't complete the profile in question correctly with the name of the .air file. Otherwise, the client would choose this very profile automatically!
  12. Where have the paths been changed? You certainly can't move around program folders AFTER they have been installed without messing up. The update will be installed according the path saved in the registry (from the initial installation).
  13. Similar to what is available for the minimas! I would support that.
  14. To note information which is valid for a short time and you need during your flight. Like ATC instructions (taxi routing, IFR clearance, arrival information, next reporting point), weather information, max holding time calculated, parts of the departure or arrival briefing, ... There is no need to have such information saved as they are outdated within a few minutes. I think you try to use this feature for tasks it was not indended. Maybe you can explain what you are exactly looking for? And what information you need to note and save for later?
  15. We would have ideas for sure if you allow us some time. Just have a bit more patience and life will be much easier for you. Facts No complete re-installation is needed when an update is issued. So don't do it. You don't yourself a favour, as you probably realised. Different releases of servers and clients are generally not compatible. So a certain client build is only working together with a specific server build. The releveant updates are issued together. The latest version information downloaded can be found in Client\Updates and Server\Updates. These files are updated once a day and will then result in a prompt upon next startup. You can verify at which date the next auto update check is scheduled. The relevant parameter is named "NextUpdateCheckDate" and is to be found in Client\Settings\clientSettings.txt and Server\Settings\serverSettings.txt. Best practice The first time a day, launch server and clients around the same time. This reduces the chance that an update is rolled out while one application is already running and has done it's daily update check already (and therefore won't auto update until the next day). Do accept updates of one software component only if you have received a prompt for the other component as well. This prevents incompatibility. Forced Update For the EFB Server, you can manually re-download the latest version information via System > Check for updates. To force an auto update, you can (for both server and client), while the applications are NOT RUNNING, change the date string of parameter "NextUpdateCheckDate" in the setting file(s) (mentioned above) to the current day or earlier. This will trigger an automatic check for updates upon the next start of the application.
  16. That's correct. But it answers your initial questions, doesn't it? YES - you are able to create your own notes NO - you can't save them
  17. As long as there is no connection between EFB (providing sim/actual aircraft data) and this website (providing performance calculations), I think this is not really a task for EFB to fulfill.
  18. What is the advantage of having a webbrowser within EFB? Just open the browser of your choice, resize the windows and you are there. I'm not sure if even RL EFB offer such an option.
  19. Manual 5 Client - Chapter 5.10.3
  20. Use the system menu (bottom left button), then reset the server location (first column, top).
  21. I see, never had that distinction in a traffic monitor client myself. Depends, how it is determined, most probably only on the suffix (FSS in this case). You would still need to check what levels are actually covered since this is not harmonized. Some FSS cover top-ground, some from FL145, some from FL245. And there are also CTR station which cover only upper airspace. I think, it's generally more reliable to check the ATC info text quickly.
  22. I don't know exactly what color you mean (a screenshot is always helpful), but did you check already Manual 5 Client - Chapter 12.1?
  23. How is the profile then selected at first? This should be automatically. But from your report, I assume you do something manually.
  24. Hi Bob Your issue is related to FS Aerodata. Check here:
