  1. May I ask. Did EFB propose you the "wrong" folder or did you change the path manually? Because EFB should actually propose you the correct path automatically, which also worked on my system flawless. So I'm curious to know what was the root cause in your case.
  2. Can you verify that the P3D exe is in the installation folder selected? (There seems to be a Prepar3D v4 folder missing)
  3. Please check your "Update Simulator" tab (share a screenshot with us) in the database builder and verify the paths are correct. It seems these are not correct.
  4. But the restriction for CF26 is 2200' or above, right? So this was respected, wasn't it? So you have been offered a CDA ? (CDA = Continuous Descent Arrival)!! What a great feature. ?
  5. I thought it goes without saying that obvious that your server is not updated. So you need to do the steps described for the server. Just exchange "client" with "server" and you should find your way. BTW: You may address me with my real name Jonas, also to be found in my signature.
  6. This section isn't about installation, which will automatically require admin rights anyway. It's about running the application! Please take the necessary time to read the manuals completely and carefully. We don't want to quote every chapter for you ... You read in the Quickstart, you said, right? The difference to earlier EFB products is remarkable to say the least. Therefore practically none of the former information applies to EFB v2
  7. So did you read in the Quickstart as well this sentence? The Quickstart Guide is no replacement for the more detailed User Guide Installation is about installation, and it stops after the applications are on your hard drive and does not cover the "first start", which is a topic in the Server manual. In order to use EFB without troubles, there is no way around to read the entire documentation! It is really worth it and will answer most of your questions, which will arise.
  8. What is your current server build?
  9. I assume your installation wasn't set up correctly as you wrote this topic earlier. So, unexpected errors may occur if you don't follow the manual. If the error return, please provide more detailed information (scenario used, exact status of the flight, what your last interaction with the application was, ...). EFB doesn't "just" crash.
  10. And these aren't static aircraft by chance? The bug Urs found will cover an issue of AI traffic not displayed although it is in the traffic monitor. So if you can't find this traffic in the traffic monitor, this won't be the solution for your problem. Did you change your FSUIPC Miscellaneous settings?
  11. EBLG. Now that is a special case. The runways are actually named correctly, but different. ? In the BGL, they are named 05L and R. Because they are then matched with the AIRAC data, where runways are named 04L and R, this mix is created. I think, this is to be fixed on Urs' side. But, there are two ways to fix this temporarily. Either you use the "Enhance / Update Runways" tab in the database builder and assign each scenery runway to the AIRAC runway. Or, you take the file attached where I just changed the identifiers in the BGL as well to 04L and R. Then the match is done correctly. Enjoy. EBLG_ADEX_BDO.bgl
  12. Definitely, what a crime! Here you go. Place the file in Server\AFCAD. EBBR_ADEX_ADE.bgl
  13. I explained the issue already. The behaviour of the client is correct in this matter, but it doesn't have an influence on the display of GW or FOB. Please provide a screenshot of the entire client while your sim is running. The yellow text "Simulator" should disappear once the sim is running. Otherwise, there is a general problem with an interface somewhere. You can't manually set a profile. You have to add the airfile of the aircraft in question to the EFB profile you wish to use for this aircraft. The manual explains you everything in detail.
  14. As far as I understood Urs, this is not possible, mainly because EFB2 is using FSUIPC as interface, whereas EFB1 was using SimConnect.
  15. I know you think it changed with the last update. But even if it did for you, the update wasn't the cause as there was no change of code in this matter (as Urs already wrote). And even if there was, it wouldn't help us for the further analysis of this problem. I think Bobs (or whatever your name is, @bobsk8 check https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/2522-forum-rules-read-before-post/) report shows us the direction to go. The output of FSUIPC is sometimes a bit, let's say, suspicious. You can see in Tims post that also in the columns ICAO from/to, where the values don't seem to be right. Having identified this quite some time ago, there is still clarification needed with Pete (developer of FSUIPC). And there are maybe more settings in FSUIPC that influence the display of AI traffic than we are currently aware of. In this context, it is interesting to read that the TCAS setting actually changed the display of aircraft. But I think this is a valuable piece of information for further analysis. Thanks for your efforts!
  16. As we are speaking of BLUE traffic, it's totally irrelevant "who" injects these aircraft. It might be the sim AI engine or a network client for VATSIM and IVAO. They all "look" the same on FSUIPC, so EFB can't distinguish them. It's just AI traffic. FSUIPC usually does some filtering (40NM unless you have the paid version and extend the limit), so you will only see traffic in the proximity to your current aircraft position. If the traffic monitor shows traffic, most probably the filtering (altitude) in your client is an issue. If you have no traffic in the traffic monitor, it is either too far away or there is really something wrong. To be honest, for now I don't really know what you can do. It works flawless on my system, so it's also hard to investigate. Anyway, any further finding or systematic you can observe, please report it here.
  17. Then this is not the right topic for you. This is still possible with limitations. Best practice Start EFB server and client RED AI traffic will be loaded and displayed (it takes a few seconds) Start your sim RED traffic will disappear when your scenario is loaded (but will stay when your sim is set up to show the "home/free flight" dialog first) However, if you have been flying already before (sim was running), a return to the free flight dialog won't bring back the RED traffic. Simply, because there is no trigger for this. RED traffic then will only return when you close the sim. Hope that helps.
  18. I'm pretty sure it isnt' the only one. You may try to: search your entire sim folder for other bgl files with WMKK verify if you did any special settings in your v1 (I'm no a user of v1, so I don't know if there are similar options to use a different bgl for EFB only like in v2) temporarily deactivate the WMKK scenery entries and check the behaviour in FSX Move the 3 entries to the very top (check the scenery designers advice for the priority of the 3 parts, landclass is for sure the lowest, not sure about the other two), run your sim and do an update of the EFB database
  19. Hello *YOURNAME* (https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/2522-forum-rules-read-before-post/) EFB (and also your simulator) doesn't/don't know if you are connected to the network. To avoid overlay of "red" and "blue" traffic, no "red" traffic is displayed after the EFB has established connection to the sim (yellow text Simulator is gone) until it is shutdown.
  20. @alpha117 Careful, there are two separate issues. Read again the post from Urs: However, I checked my own installation and I have a double entry for BLM as well, not for SRN. Didn't find out where the double BLM comes from. But SRN could be linked to a scenery (most probably BLM as well but I didn't find out which one yet). @Roland Knöpfel Do you have add-on sceneries in your database in the region of SRN?
