  1. Concerning interaction between MSFS and EFB2 (and A320neo) you may check here: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/5162-synchronize-efb-flight-plan-w-msfs-2020/?tab=comments#comment-27360 There are no new findings to-date.
  2. Hi Chris, The solution to this "problem" is simple: The Ground Layout BGL of Gaya's LOWW does not depict parking position F37. See picture below: The only parking stand in this region is F35. F37 would be an intermediate stand which can only be used if F35 is not occupied. See AIP excerpt below: it is however not included in the ground BGL, neither with Statics nor without.
  3. No, P3D is different. If a parking stand does not show up in-game, it means that it is not present in the respective BGL. Nevertheless in any case we need more information about the add-on concerned. For proper error tracing we need the BGL in question.
  4. Sure, no problem๐Ÿ˜€. Just check whether the mentioned path in the start command is correct for the FSUIPC location in your installation. I guess this part of the batch file is generated during installation of FSUIPC, but nevertheless it may be worth checking.
  5. Jaap, This is a problem with the "MSFS.bat" file provided with the newest FSUIPC7 update. This .bat file does NOT start FSUIPC as the respective line in the batch file is reading "::start "" "D:\FSUIPC7\FSUIPC7.exe"". The two colons (:) at the beginning of the line are commenting this line out, thus it is not recognized as a batch command. So the complaints should go the the Dowsons..๐Ÿ˜„ I have tested the same file in my installation and it does not start FSUIPC either. Make a backup copy of the file and remove the two colons at the beginning of the mentioned line (last line before the "exit" command). Be careful not to remove anything else!

  7. Ever considered checking the settings?๐Ÿ˜‰ or Manual 5. Client, Chapter Aircraft.... Airbus = A/C symbol Boeing = Triangle Crosshairs = Crosshairs
  8. Just as a piece of additional information: The Navigraph installer should find the proper installation path for EFB2's AIRAC data. It should be: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Server\ for a default installation. Once they are installed, just use the "Update Navdata" tab on the EFB-DatabaseBuilder.
  9. George, Could it be that your stored Flight Plans were created with an earlier, outdated Nav-Database? To ensure Flight Plan Compatibility it is of utmost importance that the stored Flight Plan uses the same Nav-Database (AIRAC-Cycle) installed in EFB, which was used for Flight Plan creation.
  10. EFB depiction and naming of the taxiways is defined by the ground layout bgl. if the latter is not correct, the taxiway naming can't be correct either. Just putting new taxiway names into the visible part of the scenery does not change a thing. How could it anyway? EFB does not read taxiway signs...
  11. Hi Geroge, Not sure what you refer to by stating about flight plans. I am presently on a flight from LSZR to LSGG with the TBM930 without any problems and I have done a few flights with the A320neo before, all with no different handling compared to the pre-WU6 MSFS version. We might need to know more details about your use of flightplans within MSFS and the NAV databases used.
  12. Hi Jean-Louis, Yes. of course the provided AIRAC Cycle is outdated. Its only purpose is to serve as an exampe for proper use of EFB2. For legal reasons we are not allowed to provide an actual AIRAC Cycle with our Basic Installation. AIRAC Cycles are published in a 28 day rhytm, which gives an average of 13 Cycles/Year. always starting on a Thursday at 00:00. Next AIRAC Cycle 2109 is starting on Thursday, September 9th. For more information please see here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aeronautical_Information_Publication Complete AIRAC Cycles for EFB2 are available by either Navigraph(Jeppesen) or NavDataPro(Lufthansa LIDO). Both are commercial databases used in real life aviation. There is no alternative way to legally get recent cycles other than subscribing to NavDataPro or Navigraph.
  13. Claus, For any reason that I cannot explain your IcaoUrlData is not correct. Unfortunately this went by unnoticed in t he previous discussion. It should have been automatically adjusted in one of the previous updates. However in your Server Settings.txt still the old IvaoUrlData is set. it should read: IvaoUrlData = https://api.ivao.aero/v2/tracker/whazzup Please change it accordingly in your serverSettings.txt and all should be ok thereafter.
  14. Hi Damian, I agree that this might be an interesting move to work on a certain EFB compatibility for the FWB bus. I have to leave this however to our Chief Developer Urs, who is already informed about the issue.
  15. Hi Damian, I take it that you are talking of the A320neo for MSFS from FlyByWire. There was never an EFB compatibility promised nor intended and neither did we ever envisage it. The only thing we could achieve (and this only by observation, not by intention) was that the A320neo was able to follow an EFB flight plan, when it was transferrred by the "resend GPS route" button. This transferred Flightplan however was not properly showing on the ND. Nevertheless it was accurately followed by the A/C. That's the way I personally use it to-date. I refrain from using experimental versions. In case an advanced FMGC version is working better than all previous ones (which in fact were useless), you need to remove the "Forward flight plan to default GPS" option in the A320neo's profile and use the FMGC as the sole source for navigation for the A/C as you would do with any other Airbus or Boeing. EFB has no internal functionality built in for custom Flight Management Units. The same applies for any other Flight Management System in any other Simulator, e.g. also for the well known FSL Airbus.
  16. Hi Claus, To be honest, I'm a bit at loss about your query. Did you properly set up the soft buttons in the Settings/Misc Dialog? This should result in the display of the (blue) soft buttons: Also what does the status window show when everything is connected and running? With all these settings (also refer to the manual "5 Client") all your requested items should show up properly.
  17. Hi Claus, You might want to check your FSUIPC version. According to EFB Specs https://www.aivlasoft.com/specifications.html for P3DV4 FSUIPC Version 6.0.3 or higher is required. Not sure though whether this is the real culprit for your problems with ICAO traffic as FSUIPC V5 should still work with P3DV4, but maybe some parameters have changed in the meantime. I can't give you the full details but maybe some other user can?
  18. Great to hear ! Thanks for the info.
  19. As far as I can see you are using EFB2 on a networkled system. According the the supplied support files the TcpPort number 57892 is used on both systems. Could it be that your AV or any other software is locking out a certain range of port numbers?
  20. Did you properly specify the Server location?
  21. Well, that looks completely different then. I'm not sure how installations in FSX Steam were done and how they're processed. I have never worked with FSX Steam. I'm afraid that I can't be of any help on this specific topic. Maybe someone also working wih FSX Steam can jump in here?
  22. Well, to be honest, I don't know the way of installation of all your programs. There is no reason for the Server window to pop up due to a new entry. Such messages can always happen due to many reasons and in most cases they happen due to connection problems mainly with internet servers for various reasons. But his does not mean that the Server Window should get the focus! Here I can't see any such behaviour. The Server window remains in the background and any message should not call it into the foreground i.e. should not set the focus for it. I cannot reproduce this behaviour. Maybe someone else has an explanation for such behaviour? In addition to what I said, have you ever tried to use the "go to tray after startup" function in the Server settings? Is there anyone else seeing this behaviour?
  23. Hi Don, I'm not really sure what you are talking about. You are getting EFB error messages popping up in the cockpit ?? EFB does not isse any warnings in the simulator. All issued warnings are restricted to either the Sever window or the Status Line in the Client, but NEVER in the simulator.
  24. Hi ??? (please observe out Forum Rules and sign your posts with your real name) When a new Add-On airport is installed into ANY simulator, the "update simulator" tab of the DbBuilder must be run. This will add the new Add-On to your library. Please check that you have the same entries in the airport Info page: This will result in displaying the correct airport layout:
  25. Hi ?? (please sign your posts with your real name according to our Forum Rules) I use the A320neo almost daily and do not have any problems with procedures. You must however know the limitations for this aircraft when using and EFB flight plan. It also depends on HOW and WHERE you do the flight plan modifications. I personally DO NOT use the FMGC procedures as the FMGC of the A320neo is still far too buggy. I load the flight plan into EFB, also import it into the FMGC, then do any modifications in EFB ONLY and when any modification is done, I use the "resend GPS Route" button on the Settings/Misc tab. This way you will see that the A320 follows exactly all procedures entered in EFB, you will however not see any of the procedures on the A320'2 Nav Display. If you want to use the A320's own FMGC Guidance exclusively you need to UNCHECK the respective funktion inorder to avoid the FMC receiving data form EFB. This is also valid for e.g. Working Title's CJ4. See screenshot below. Regarding default A/C I cannot confirm a malfunction. I use EFB daily with all kind of A/C on MSFS and do not see any problems.
