  1. Thanks for uploading the support files. There is no error or warning logged in these files, so the issue must be beyond EFB. Two things caught my attention: 1) Between logfile-1 and logfile-2 is a time gap of more than 6 months. Logfile-2 ends 2022-08-10 where logfile-1 starts at 2023-03-03. If this is true and you didn't run EFB for more than 6 months you can neglect this. If not, maybe an automatic backup program is running on your computer which unintentionally reverted an old backup, and maybe is the cause for other issues? 2) There are many "FSUIPC connect and disconnect" sections logged, but all of them without errors or warnings. Do you often restart MSFS, or do you use the so called 'active pause' from the inflight menu? Active pause is known to be the cause for interruptions so it is recommended to not use it. If you want to take a break, just press "ESC" on your keyboard and the sim is also paused.
  2. Uninstalling does not remove the license key for user convenience. After reinstall the key becomes active automatically this way. As long as the menu item 'license' is greyed out means that the license certificate has been recognized as valid and therefore you won't need to enter the key again.
  3. You're welcome. I'm glad to read that it works again.
  4. Please comply to the forum rules and write your posts in English. Other users who do not speak German will be grateful to you ... Yes, we need the so called support file.
  5. You can do this. Just copy the airports.bin from the Server's computer (C:\Users\Fred\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Server\DbBuilder\Ready\MSFSNG), to C:\Users\Fred\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Client\Database on the Client's computer. Important: You also have to copy the file 'Filelist.txt' from the same source folder to the same target folder as mentioned above. Regarding the network issue, please also check all cables (if using a cable network). I had the same issue some month ago and I searched for hours until it turned out to be an old cable which did not reach the required throughput. Just an idea ...
  6. According to the logfile there was a timeout detected. Timeout happens whenever the transmission takes longer than 2 minutes per file. Please check AntiVirus, Windows Firewall and Network configuration.
  7. I haven't found a way yet to distinguish between such static aircraft and 'real' aircraft.
  8. Hi Pete see this one from the FAQs: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3046-how-to-create-a-support-file/
  9. Hello Pete, the add-ons.cfg file contains a wrong entry on line 2. [DiscoveryPath.0] is not within quotation marks and it also has not a boolean value. The logfiles you provided are not from EFB. To automatically collect all the necessary logfiles, please create a support file. Thanks.
  10. Currently we do not have plans to introduce this functionality in the near future, but we will keep it on our radar and probably reconsider our decision if we get more requests regarding this functionality.
  11. More or less the same questions regarding LSGG has been asked by you already two times in the past: May 2019: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3608-lsgg-procedures-taxi-ways/ June 2019: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3655-lsgg-ils-04-22/
  12. Uninstall EFB from your old PC, then install EFB on your new PC. You may use the same key.
  13. Please see the license agreement, paragraph 3: 3.1 The licensee shall receive the personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to install and use the software according to the documentation on a single computer. The use on different machines at the same time is prohibited.
  14. I'm currently flying the Analog King Air equipped with the PMS GNS430/530. It still accepts flight plans created with EFB. EDIT: if you are using this GPS system you have to check in the Content Manager whether the Working Title variant is already installed. I have uninstalled the WT-variant.
  15. Hi Paul thanks very much for posting the solution to this issue. I hope this will help others to fix it too. Greetings to England, from the 'Zürcher Oberland', which is not far away from Buchs SG. Switzerland is a small country 😀.
  16. Did you already read this post: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/6907-efb2-is-not-forwarding-the-flight-plan-to-msfs-on-g1000-equipped-aircraft-after-su10/ Maybe your issue is related to the latest MSFS updates.
  17. It depends on which GPS system is in use. As far as we could investigate in the meantime, it seems that with the latest MSFS update (AAU1) the GPS systems do no longer accept a flight plan loaded externally (e.g. by EFB). It seems that it is only possible to load a flight plan from the 'World screen' BEFORE you start your flight. This will also prevent from any external modifications inflight and therefore it will also no longer be possible to load a 'Zulu' flight plan while you are airborne. In other words, once the flight plan has been loaded, you have to manage your flight plan using the buttons, switches and rotary knobs given by the different GPS systems, G1000/G3000 and also GNS430/530 which are maintained now by Working Title. We are very sorry that obviously Asobo/MS or Working Title decided that the development of the GPS systems is going in this direction, because this way EFB loses one of its elementary functions in combination with the following GPS systems: G1000/G3000, GNS430/530 (all maintained by Working Title). However there are still a few other GPS-systems around which are NOT (yet) concerned from this latest change.
  18. If your computer works properly the delay cannot be more than 1 second. This is the frequency of the map update. If MSFS, EFB Server and Client (and maybe some more add-ons) are running simultaneously on the same machine it might lead to a bottleneck somewhere.
  19. Thanks Colin, for your kind words. You're welcome.
  20. Data transfer between X-Plane and EFB is done via TCP/UDP. If the aircraft symbol in EFB does not follow the position in X-Plane then it might be a network issue (or firewall). Maybe there was an update of X-Plane which altered the network (port) settings? If you could create a support file and upload it here I can have a look in the different files. Maybe there is some information which helps to find the issue.
  21. Thanks for uploading the support files. There is nothing suspicious logged in these files (no errors, no warnings) so I have to assume that the issue must be outside of the scope of EFB. Did you do this manually or did you run the uninstaller? Manually cleaning is never a good idea because it might lead to unforeseeable issues of the installer when it runs next time for an update.
  22. When EFB Client is being closed, all the form states will be saved in the file 'clientSettings.txt' which is located in 'C:\Users\<username>\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Client\Settings' (default installation). Upon next opening of each of these forms, the previous states (location and size) will be re-applied. Because the monitor setting has changed, the saved states, mainly the locations, will no longer match the new monitor positions. Therefore I suggest to edit the above mentioned file. Close EFB Client if running Open it with a text editor (notepad.exe or similar), scroll down to the section '[FormStates]' and remove all the lines of this section Save the file Start EFB Client Every Client form will now be opened at the default location 0/0 which is the top left corner of the main monitor. Now you can move it to the new position and then close each of these forms. Finally close the Client to make sure the new positions of all the forms will be saved. Hope this helps.
  23. Could you successfully create a database?
  24. The frequencies on the ATC ribbon are provided by the data download from VATSIM. The latest download is always saved in the folder 'Downloads' on the Server's side and can be used for reference. If the active frequencies in this download do not match the requirements of the VATSIM ATC controller, I suggest to ask VATSIM for help.
  25. You first have to select the frequency on the ribbon, then choose whether you want to tune the selected frequency either on COM1 active or standby, or COM2 active or standby.
