  1. Today we released the new update 2.3 (build #136) which contains the following improvements: X-Plane 11/12: Support for 8.33 kHz COM frequencies MSFS: Aircraft type 'TT:AIRCRAFT.UI_MODEL' converted into meaningful name
  2. Hi Erdal, please do not use 'LSZH' again as the title for this thread because it has absolutely nothing to do with what you report. A more meaningful name would be helpful also to other users reading this forum. Thanks. The above error message might happen if the flight plan in SimBrief was created with another AIRAC cycle than the currently active cycle.
  3. Unfortunately the time period where the issue most probably happened, is not covered in the Client's logfile. Logfile #2 ends at 2022-08-11 17:21:20.818 while the next logfile #1 starts at 2022-11-28 18:56:05.348 which is more than 3 months later. Are you running any 'auto-backup' software or any other utility which might have replaced some of the logfiles on this computer?
  4. Thanks for the files. Unfortunately there is no time period logged where both computers are running simultaneously so I cannot say why the Client is not connecting. Another issue which I see is that you have the Client's data folder at a location which is synchronized with OneDrive. According to the installation manual, please do not select a location which is synchronized with OneDrive or any other cloud service. Please see also here: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/2951-win10-onedrive-cloud/ It is recommended to uninstall the Client using the uninstaller. Then download the latest complete installer, run the installation and when being asked for the data folder, select a location which is NOT synchronized with OneDrive.
  5. Having too long paths has nothing to do with EFB, it is unfortunately an issue which is introduced by the designers of MSFS. They obviously still aren't aware of the limitation of the path length for Windows. The only remedy for this is to reinstall MSFS to a dedicated (short) path like C:\MSFS or anything similar.
  6. Please create a set of support files, one from the Client, one from the Server and then upload them here. Thanks.
  7. Please create a set of support files, one from the Server, one from the Client and upload them here. Thanks.
  8. Hi Erdal, Thanks for the screenshot. BTW, this is not a screenshot from the DbBuilder but from the Server. Anyway, I can see two issues on it: EFB will not properly work if the data folder is located on a drive which is synchronized with the OneDrive cloud service. See here from the FAQs: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/2951-win10-onedrive-cloud/ To solve this issue, you have to uninstall EFB Client and EFB Server, running the uninstallers from the Windows menu. Then download the latest complete installers from the website: https://www.aivlasoft.com/download.html Run the installers and when asked for the data folder, select a local folder which is not synchronized with OneDrive. You always should update FSUIPC to the latest available version. Currently this is 7.3.15 (November 15th, 2022)
  9. ... and if posting a screenshot, it would be helpful to the support, if the screenshot covers the entire EFB Client window. Thanks.
  10. @benjoglove Did you run the installer with 'right-mouse-click', then 'Run as administrator'? And also make sure not to run any instance of EFB Client and/or Server.
  11. Hi Christian first of all, thank you very much for your kind words on EFB. This is much appreciated, indeed. There is no such specific functionality implemented. It's only the possibility of displaying a pdf-document in the Documents browser. There are two reasons for a 'no': First, we do not get these type of procedures neither from Navigraph nor from Aerosoft. Second, due to architectural constraints it is not possible to list procedures which are not assigned to a certain runway.
  12. Hi Mike Quit the Server, then locate the following folder at your Server's data structure: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Server\Downloads There you can delete all files starting with "adds ...". Then start the Server ...
  13. Hi Milo are you sure you are at the right forum? This is the support forum for AivlaSoft's EFB, neither A32NX, nor Remote MCDU or similar.
  14. Thanks for reporting back. Good to read that it worked now as expected.
  15. Thank you for uploading the files. There is some confusion to me when reading these files. The client logfile writes at 2022-11-14 19:55:24 that the Client is connected with the Server, but there is no logfile from the Server which covers this time. The Server logfile 'serverLogfile-2.txt' ends with the timestamp 2022-08-11 19:23:00, and the next logfile 'serverLogfile-1.txt' begins with the timestamp '2022-11-17 15:14:39'. So there is a gap of more than 3 months between these two subsequent logfiles. Can you explain how this can happen? Is there any auto-backup-software on your system which replaces newer files with old ones?
  16. As to my knowledge the behavior regarding the G3000/G3X has not changed since SU10. Do not load a flight plan from the MSFS world map when using EFB. It will mess up things. Just create and manage the flight plan from EFB only, including adding/removing SID, STAR, Approach. After each change of the EFB flight plan, the flight plan will be forwarded to the default GPS system of MSFS. The autopilot will follow all these changes, despite of not displaying all these changes and even the entire route on the G3000/G3X screens in the simulator. This is a limitation which is 'built-in' since the very first release of MSFS in 2020.
  17. No, there are no hidden files. The registry keys are used for proper function of the installer, the documents folder contains the user and system settings. The 'Program Files' folder contains the executable files. That's all, at least 'all of what I'm aware of'. Maybe Windows/.Net will create some other files, but I have no idea where and for what purpose. On a standard installation, running the uninstallers usually works perfectly, to clean-up the system.
  18. Sorry, there is no possibility to change the timeout time. Copying with a stick is a good workaround, as long as database changes will not take place every day.
  19. The important thing is to not run both installers simultaneously. Just complete the Server installation, then start the Client installation, or even vice versa. It is not relevant whether you run the DbBuilder immediately after successful installation of the Server, or if you run it after you also have installed the Client already.
  20. Please create and upload a support file from the Client and one from the Server.
  21. Please upload a support file from the Server. Are you talking about changes/enhancements which you created using the DbBuilder's function "Enhance / Update runways" ?
  22. Yes, of course. Sorry for the typo. Nevertheless, I'm still trying to find a workaround.
  23. Try to do the following steps: Quit any running instance of the Server and the Client(s) Run the uninstaller from the Windows MenĂ¼, for both the Client and the Server Reboot computer(s) Download the latest complete installers from the download page of our website: https://www.aivlasoft.com/download.html Run both installers, one after the other, and make sure you run the installers as administrator
  24. Hi Colin thanks for reporting. It seems that the 8.33 kHz COM frequencies got another row-code than the legacy 25 kHz frequencies and therefore the 8.33 kHz frequencies will not yet appear on the radio panel while the legacy ones do. I have to fix this with next update.
  25. Hi Steffen, did you already have a look at the file 'add-ons.cfg' in 'C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4' ? Are there any suspicious entries? Could you please create a support file and upload it here, or - if you prefer - send it to support@aivlasoft.com.
