  1. Today we released the new update 2.3 (build #133). This update became necessary due to a recent change in the data format for IVAO downloads. Should there be some incomplete or wrong naming of parking spots on the ground charts, please rebuild the database using the function 'Update simulator'. See also the announcement of the previous update: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/6273-update-23-132/
  2. It seems that IVAO once again changed their data format which unfortunately requires again a new update of EFB.
  3. When this happens again next time, please create a set of support files, one for the Client and one for the Server and upload them here, or - if you prefer - send them to support@aivlasoft.com. Maybe then we can see what's the cause for the issue.
  4. After uninstalling OneDrive you have to uninstall P3Dv5 too and do a clean and new install of it because all the previous folder names pointing to a OneDrive location are stored in the registry database of Windows and therefore they must be removed first. This can only be done with uninstalling P3D, then reinstalling P3Dv5. It is also a good idea to use another target folder name than before (e.g. use C:\P3Dv5) when doing the new installation.
  5. I have no idea what is wrong with your installation but I can see that the DbBuilder is only finding 365 files to scan, resulting in only 9 airports. Usually there are many thousands of files to scan and about 25000 to 30000 airports worldwide. It seems that all the default airports could not be found. Can you check whether the paths in the file C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\scenery.cfg are available? Can you upload this file so I can have a look at the content? I can also see that some scenery files are installed on the '..\OneDrive\Documents\..' path which is not a good idea. In the context of flight simulation do not use paths which are synchronized with a cloud service.
  6. Hi Juergen I guess it has to do with the airfile name which is defined in the aircraft profile. Most probably the airfile name provided by MSFS does not match the airfile name defined in the aircraft profile. Maybe these two posts can help: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/4847-msfs-a320neo-profile-not-matching https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/4757-msfs-airfile-name-location
  7. Sorry for not making myself clear, you were right, I meant the DbBuilder dialog. Anyway, good to know that it now works. Thanks for reporting back.

  9. Graham, did you already try to delete the database and then create a new one?
  10. P3Dv5: If the file 'magdec.bgl' cannot be found then either the path to the simulator is not properly set, or the installation of the simulator is broken/corrupted. The second error is because of the first error, the database could not be created properly and therefore the file 'magvar.bin' was not created. MSFS: Same as above, the file 'comservices.bin' was not found because the database could not be created properly due the error 'Could not find part of path 'G:\Microsoft Flight Simulator\official\onestore\fs-base-genericairports\scenery'. In both situations, please make sure that the simulator is properly installed. If the issue persists, please create a set of support files, one for the Client, one for the Server and then upload them here.
  11. This seems to be a corrupted MSFS installation. Try uninstall it and then do a clean installation. It is also suggested to uninstall/reinstall EFB after MSFS installation.
  12. John, the target folder for efbr-files (native data format for EFBv2 routes) cannot be selected, the folder is always the 'routes' folder in the Client's data structure. That's by design.
  13. We are not aware of such issues. Did you update both, Client and Server to the latest version? If the issues persist please describe the issues with as much details as possible and create a set of support files shortly after the issues happened.
  14. Sven I tried to reproduce the behavior which you described but so far I couldn't reproduce it. Whatever I try to delete, it works. Do you run the latest version?
  15. Gregory Please see the manual "4 EN Database.pdf", Chapter 2.3 "Update Simulator". Please open the DbBuilder, tab "Create/Select EFB Database". Select each database, one by one, and delete it. Once there is no database listed anymore, close the DbBuilder and restart the DbBuilder. Now create a new database for each of your simulator. It the problem persists, please create a set of support files (one for the Client, one for the Server) and upload them here so I can have a look what happens.
  16. At the moment we do not yet have a copy of X-Plane 12 to test it. Of course we will test it as soon as possible and then inform about the outcome in this forum.
  17. I just wanted to add some information about the 'skipped' feature: Which folders and files will be skipped can be defined in a file named 'BglSceneryExclude.txt' (for P3D, FSX), or 'BglSceneryExcludeMsfs.txt' for MSFS. These two configuration files are located in 'C:\Users\<username>\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Server\DbBuilder\Base'. As lonewulf47 already mentioned above, these definitions only include locations which have not to be scanned and therefore shall speed-up the entire scanning process of the DbBuilder.

  19. Sorry, my fault. We had to change the gate numbers logic because MSFS provides gate numbers like "D52A" (with a letter at the end). P3D, FSX provide letter and number only. Therefore a rebuild of the database (function 'Update simulator') is necessary. I will add a hint to the announcement.
  20. Hi Rolando I have no idea what's going wrong on your side because build #132 has absolutely nothing to do with aircraft profiles. Does the Client not automatically select the correct profile according to the currently running aircraft in the simulator, or did you manually select a profile and the Client does not load this profile instead of loading the default profile? If the distance remaining is increasing then you most probably have not properly passed a waypoint (properly means 'within a radius of 3 NM'). You can re-sync the logic by selecting your next waypoint in front of you via the 'Direct-To' function.
  21. Nico there is no rollback possible. If you experience any troubles with the ground charts, please create a set of support files and upload them here. Apart from the creation of the support files, please describe the issue in detail (which airport, which developer, what is incorrect etc. etc. ). We need certain information before we can start to investigate.
  22. Update 2.3 #132 was necessary due to a bug in #131 which prevented a proper update of the VATSIM FIR boundaries. Sorry for any inconvenience. We also had to change the gate numbers logic because MSFS provides gate numbers like "D52A" (with a letter at the end). P3D, FSX provide letter and number only. Therefore a rebuild of the database (function 'Update simulator') is necessary.
  23. Did you also update the Server to #131 ?
  24. Philip, I would like to kindly draw your attention to the fact that we are not obliged to provide profiles for every aircraft available on the flightsim market. We are also not able to access the required data for all these aircraft. But we have developed and provide a Profile Editor with which you can create new, or update existing profiles at your discretion. I assume you are a licensed FSL A320SL user so I assume that YOU have access to the data required to change, or even create a profile for this aircraft.
  25. EFB Client is using the default audio device. There is no possibility to configure specific devices.
