  1. Peter, How did you notice that? Why did the DbBuilder not build a new database? What version of LSZH did you install? Where was it installed? You know, I have the very same airport installed and it shows up correctly. it is very difficult to find out what went wrong with your install without all necessary information. Please post the Server's Support file. We need at least some information to do any kind of troubleshooting. In any case I must presume that something went wrong with your installation, as here everyhing looks exactly the way it should. and I guess that we are (hopefully) using the same installer for version 1100 of Aerosoft's LSZH.
  2. Talking about which MegaAirport LSZH? Aerosoft? For P3DV4? in my install it looks like this: Can't see anyting wrong with this.
  3. Sorry, no. The reason is explained here: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/2882-why-is-there-no-flight-plan-export-anymore/ and it might be important to remember that EFB2 is a Flight Bag, not a Flight Planning Tool.
  4. No, but every reasonable Flight Planning tool can produce a Flightplan in the required format. For the Aerosoft Extended Airbuses it is the *.flp format. Additionally Aerosoft also provides their Company Route Editor CORTE, to be found (for default installations) here: C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\Aerosoft\General\A3XX Company Route Editor
  5. Hi Pedro, please do the following: - run the DbBuilder until it finishes with the "ok" Message - make a screen shot of the DbBuilder with the "ok" message still on And a few additional questions: - How did you install EFB2 (last install). Do you use the default installation settings? - How do you start EFB2?
  6. Hi Paul, How is the setup of your EFB2 installation? Server/Client location? obviously the Client cannot connect to the Server. The easiest way would be to submit a set of Support Files
  7. https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3046-how-to-create-a-support-file/
  8. There is no need to start the Server over and over again. If this mentioned file is missing, there is no chance that the Server will ever start. First thing is to have the DbBuilder create a complete database. We need to find out why the DbBuilder does not complete the Database Building Process. Have you ever tried to create a Support File from the Windows Start menu? Or, alternatively, uninstall EFB (Server and Client) with the standard uninstallers and reintall with the latest downloads from our website: https://www.aivlasoft.com/download.html In the latter case however it would be adviseable to eventually backup own routings, checklists and profiles.
  9. Yes, those are the Parking Spots. Their size and position is defined in the airport BGL. That's the Ariport AddOn Designer's work. This is the source where EFB2 reads its information.
  10. You mean the Parking Spots? Those are defined in the airport BGL. You cannot change it within EFB. EFB only reads the information from the BGL. You would need to use the AriportDesignEditor for that: https://www.scruffyducksoftware.com/airport-design-editor
  11. Hi Alex, Yes, that would have been my next proposal, because the FS Global Installer obviously made a mess within the scenery.cfg. To be honest, I have no idea what causes the error about those non-existing areas. To me it looks as if there were another scenery.cfg around at another default location. FSX-SE installation is somewhat tricky in that respect.
  12. Ok, by checking the scenery.cfg i noticed that there is an anomaly in the following area: [Area.130] Title=FS Global 2010 Local Meshes Layer=130 Active=TRUE Required=FALSE There is the local path missing for the LocalMeshes ! EFB needs a local path in each entry of the scenery. cfg. My guess is that the DbBuilder produces the error because of this missing path. Could you check where the FS Global Local Meshes are installed? Is there a path \LocalMeshes in the main DSX directory?
  13. Accordig to your scenery.cfg the LGSA scenery is installed in the fsx\scenery directory [Area.122] Title=LGSA v2 FSX P3D Local=scenery\LGSA v2 FSX P3D Layer=122 Active=TRUE Required=FALSE which is in fact not the correct directory for AddOn sceneries. But as long as the scenery works it's ok to install it at any place. For the LOWW scenery I see the installation path fsx\Addon Scenery [Area.135] Title=LOWW Local=Addon Scenery\LOWW Active=TRUE Required=FALSE Layer=135 This is in fact the usual path for AddOns. Can you confirm that LOWW is really installed there with all necessary files?
  14. Hi Alexander, Nope, that's the fsx.cfg. What I need is the scenery.cfg. It should be located at "C:\Users\glpmi\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\fsx\scenery.cfg"
  15. Hi Alexander, According to the Logfile it seems that there is an invalid entry in the scenery.cfg. Could you please post your scenery.cfg here to let me check? Maybe I can find something.
  16. And to which path do you send the uplink? Could there be an accessibility problem?
  17. Hi G??? (please sign with your real name according to our Forum Rules) What path do you use to copy the SimBrief company route into EFB2? Do you store the route or do you use the Uplink feature? Can you confirm that EFB2 is working normally after installing into drive D?
  18. I understand what you mean, but that's not the basic idea. For an outdated version there is no support available. That's why we have automatic updates.
  19. Hi Pascal, There is no direct way, nowever you can use the weather setting "Simulator" in the Settings Menu. This way EFB2 displays at least the weather injected to FSX by your weather engine.
  20. I have updated P3DV5 HF1 in two different ways. 1). Partial Update: - Client - Content - Scenery With the newest installers. 2). Full re-Install No Probels whatsoever showed up. EFB2 Build #117 is not affected in any way
  21. Rob, For EFB2 you need exactly ONE database. Even though in the NavDataPro Updater you will see an EFB2 dataset for each version of P3D (and even FSX), all those databases are identical. Selecting ONE of them activates selection of all of them. Maybe this is the somewhat confusing part of the NavDataPro updater. All 4 entries point to the same database in the same installation path. In fact it's only ONE database and it's compatible for all simulators. The compatibility for various simulators is not dependent on the database, but on the EFB2 variant, in this case as from build #117 onwards you can create databases for FSX, FSX-SE, P3DV2, P3DV3, P3DV4, P3DV5 and X-Plane, all with the same NavDataPro database. So, all you need is to open the DbBuilder, select "create New"... and then select Lockheed Martin Version 5 then with "next" select the NavDataPro database that is already available for EFB2 and let the DB build. That's all. You see in my first screenshot from my EFB2 DbBuilder, that I have already built three databases, one for P3DV4, one for P3DV5 and one for X-Plane 11. All these databases use the very same NavDataPro dataset.
  22. I see, sorry. I think you're right. We will add a warning at some decent point.
  23. I'm afraid, they are deleted. An uninstall of EFB2 deletes the whole program structure. Just BTW, why would you store 500 flight plans/routings? A flight plan/routing is only valid within the current AIRAC cycle anyway. There is no sense in storing it for more than one cycle.
  24. Hi Geir, Changelogs are generally visible after having updated and thereafter in the Logfile Path of Server and Client, e.g. C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Server\Logfiles
  25. Hi ??? ) please observe our Forum Rules) It depends what you mean with NavDataPro. If you refer to the Chart viewer, I'm not sure how this is connected to P3DV5. The EFB2 Database from NavDataPro requires no special attention as it has nothing to do with which simulator you use it. Just open the DbUilder, click "create new" and select P3D Version 5 , then confirm using the NavDataPro database and start building the database. It's exactly the same process as for P3D Version 4. After creation you will have TWO databases in the DbBuilder. Select the one for the simulator ou intend to use and start the server with that database. You will notice the version being used in the right lower corner of the client's window frame.
