  1. Bill, In fact, EFB includes all necessary information and tools to create a profile for any desired aircraft. As we are a very polite crew here at AivlaSoft 😉 we will of course provide you with a profile, as long as we have it in our personal library. This is no commitment however. K100.profile.zip Unzip the file into the profiles folder of your EFB Client. For a standard installation this will be: "C:\Users<Username>\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Client\Profiles" Change the values used therein to your liking. No warranty is given for the data used. After having installed the file, restart the Client to make changes available.
  2. So, you are saying that you don't see the profile list as shown below? This would mean that the profile is not recognized it its path. Can you have a look into the documents path of the EFB-Client? (C:\Users\<username>\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Client\Profiles) there MUST be a file HA420.profile.xml if not, then the profile is not properly installed.
  3. Wha do you mean by that? Don't you see the profile in the listing?
  4. Ok, one more possibility. We sometimes observe an odd behaviour of MSFS. It does not ALWAYS use the same airfile name. We have no idea why, and no influence anyway, but we have observed if already a few times. Start Server, Client and MSFS. In the server protocol window look for an entry "Airfile name: xxxx", if no profile could be found. Enter this filename as shown in the server protocol IN ADDITION to the already existing filename(s) and restart the Client again. I just created the situation on my install and it returned the following:
  5. You need to restart the client (see manual 5 Client, page 103 -> important).
  6. Here's a profile for the HondaJet HA420. some notes from the editor: - there is no MLW defined, therefore MTOW is used - filter settings are individual, those used in the file are editor's choice - change any values to personal liking - unzip into Client's profile folder, for a standard installation this is: "C:\Users\<username>\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Client\Profiles" HA420.profile.zip
  7. Hi Markus, Hang on, as soon as I have collected all data, I'll create one. As a prliminary information: the airfile name is "ha420"
  8. Hover with your Mouse Cursor over the Client's Icon in the taskbar. There you will see that the window in question is still there but inactive for an unknown reason. Actually this is more a Windows issue than an EFB issue. Just click the "Direct-to" icon and your window is back.
  9. Hi Oscar, What did you enter in the profile as "airfile name"? As I do not have the PMDG models, I cannot say what airfile name is used by PMDG for specific models. To find out, just load the aircraft in MSFS (don't forget to start FSUIPC7 also) and check the server window for a line named: "airfile name xxxxx". There you will see the airfile name returned by FSUIPC7/MSFS for the A/C model loaded. Enter this name into the airfile name in the respective profile. After this edit you have to restart the Client inorder for the changes to become active.
  10. Please follow the Forum Rules for your inquiry.
  11. Hi William, Inorder to properly invertigate we need some more information than just an airport name and "does not work" or similar. Please indicate a proper setup with airport, A/C position and endpoint of the selected taxiroute, e,g, "KBNA Gate4 to RWY 20L" or similar. As you can see in the two screenshots attachend I just selected two random positions on the two mentioned default airports KBNA and KIAH. Both worked normally. Please confirm that you did NOT select the "use named taxiways" option. If you use this, no taxiroute will be indicated without selecteted TWY designators, and furthermore due to the complexity of the TWY systen this function is not always producing proper results. KBNA taxi out: KIAH taxi in:
  12. Hi William, Can you specify the airport (Default or AddOn), parking position, RWY chosen and Option (use namend TWY or not) inorder to give us a chance to investigate this? Please also read the last entry here: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/6617-choosing-taxiways-never-seem-to-work/
  13. During my whole flying career of IRL and SIM, I would never have the idea of starting the flight preparation after being airborne... But I agree, everyone to his liking, so I will not discuss any EFB matters on this topic any further. Just go to your A/C profile and deselect the field "forward flight plan to default GPS". Oh, and BTW, there are also manuals available in your EFB installation...
  14. The title is misleading. We work with MSFS since the beginning of MSFS operation. Please send a set of Support Files to support@aivlasoft.com
  15. Please use the search function in this forum. https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/4908-socketexception-start-tcp-listener-only-one-use-of-each-socket-address-protocol-network-address-port-is-usually-allowed/#comment-26446
  16. The EFB2 Installation is not simulator dependent. You can use it on any suitable simulator installed on your computer, be it P3D, X-Plane or MSFS. Just try our free 30-daysoffer. This is a free key for a limited time, but the full version. Also a full set of manuals is provided with the free install. All pertinent information for use with different simulators is available there.
  17. Great to hear ! Thanks for reporting !
  18. Henk, Can you describe exactly (step by step), how you proceed to update the EFB database? And please post a screenshot of your present DatabaseBuilder Page Tab 1 (Create/select EFB Database).
  19. Thank you, Geroge, for your valuable feedback. Hopefully other users will also benefit from the infomation about the airfile name being p28s.
  20. There is currently no profile for the Turbo Arrow III. If you want to use the standard PA28R Arrow III profile you need to enter the correct airfile name for this A/C. As I don't have this model, I cannot tell you which code is used. To find out please read here (first answer by me) and add the name shown in the Server Protocol to the list in the standard Profile for the Arrow III. As an alternative you may also create a new profile for the Turbo Arrow III using the respective airfile name.
  21. Ain't we a wonderful and unbeaten grateful community with no other major problems than a pop-up showing for approx.40 sec during startup of an app? I still can't believe what I'm reading...🙈 My five cents as a stunned observer...
  22. Time compression does not work in EFB2.
  23. Here is the fix for such rare occurrences, where two airports (ICAO Codes) are "on top uf each other". 1. Locate the file "BglSceneryExcludeMsfs.txt" in the following path (default installation): "C:\Users\User\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Server\DbBuilder\Base" 2. Open this file with a text editor 3. At the lower end add the following line: airport:EBMB 4. Save the file an you should be done See Screenshot below of an example entry. There is actually no necessity to add an empty line before the new entry like in the sample below.. It's just made for clarity, to separate new entries from older ones. Please note however that EBMB will never again be available as airport within EFB. This lockout is necessary as the two airports are far too close to each other. The same procedure will be necessary for an ICAO Code showing up at EDDW. Just add another line as described above.
