Tinpanva
So I’m having one heck of a time with the AP failing after this last update from Asobo and as part of my trouble shooting the problem I want to work on my start up sequence. (Also I’m using the developer version of FBW a320nx.) 1. Start Server 2. Start Client 3. Download SimBrief flight plan and complete (dep) and (app) if known 4. Start MSFS 5. Open at gate Cold and dark 6. Start FSUIPC 7 7. Start REX (weather program) 8. Build flight plan in MCDU 9. Hopefully avoiding the death spiral once AP is engaged. 50/50 it seems would you change anything?

Start FSUIPC7 4. Start Server 5. Start Client (start any AddOns here) 6. Import SimBrief Flight Plan into EFB 7. Complete Flight Plan With SID and STAR in EFB only 8. Start-up A/C and prepare for departure, make sure NAV is engaged from the beginning No need to complete Flight Plan in MCDU. This will only lead to conflicts within the MCDU. The A/C will follow the route from EFB. Just don't forget to tick the "forward Flight Plan to default GPS" in the respective profile's Option Tab Make any changes only in EFB, do not enter anything in MCDU. This is the only way to properly use EFB within the whole MSFS default fleet (don't forget that even the modified A320Neo is still a default A/C in respect of the Flight Plan). Always consider reading what AivlaSoft was writing about "known issues of EFBv2 #120" in this thread: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/4655-microsoft-flight-simulator-msfs-integration/ Different handling can lead to irregular results in Flight Plan following. p.s. This start-up sequence is valid for all default A/C in MSFS
Tinpanva
Dude! I was just thinking in the shower after posting this that maybe creating a FP in EFB & MDCU might cause a conflict!
Tinpanva
Also, can you provide more detail to these two lines, just to make sure I’mon the same page ”Start-up A/C and prepare for departure, make sure NAV is engaged from the beginning” & ”tick the "forward Flight Plan to default GPS" in the respective profile's Option Tab” Thank you!! Edit - would you still fill in ZFW, Flaps, and Cost Codes into the MDCU?

I'm not sure why but I can't start FSUIPC without it launching MSFS2020 even if its already running
aivlasoft
Charles, on my computer in the installation folder of FSUIPC7 I can see two different ways to start: FSUIPC7.exe which only starts FSUIPC7 MSFSwithFSUIPC.bat which is a batch file to start FSUIPC7 and MSFS Try number 1. petermaxkoller
Charles There is an option in FSUIPC7 where you can indicate if FSUIPC7 should start MSFS or not. Peter
