AIRAC cycle in Status on Client PC

Recommended Posts

Hello,

i run sometimes the client on my Lenovo Pad, WIN7 installed.

All works fine on the Client whicht runs on the Laptop. But the client on the Tablet shows AIRAC cycle in Yellow under Status on the right side.

Also on the Tab under "UTLIS->AIRAC Dates" are nothing listed, bt on the Client on the Laptop there are the AIRAC Cycles listed.

But i did nothing different on the Laptop vs Tablet, also the settings are the same.

New and last Airacs i have only to install on the Server PC or am i wrong?

What can be the reason?

Thx

Matze

Hi Matze,

It seems that the database files on this tablet are not in accordance with the data files on your laptop.

Will the database files be updated when the Client is starting? You may force this by removing all files from the "Database" folder in the Client's data folder, before you start the Client.

That's correct. AIRAC cycles must only be installed on the Server's computer.

Of course not! 😀 it is to be found where it belongs To: in the documents section: C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Server\AIRAC. There are 2 sup-paths for each NavdataPro and Navigraph. The installers/updaters of these products will find the installation path by their own parameters. There is no need for manual intervention.

The transferred data are also where they belong in the documents section of the Client: C:\Users\User\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Client\Database
