  1. have been flying online with ivao, no problems with the online traffic, that is with NGX latest SP and also latest EFB update
  2. Traffic is an issue with the NGX, this is not just related to EFB, but also all AI programs and online clients so until PMDG sort this issue out, then there is not alot Urs can do i expect
  3. this is a strange one, even after deleting all after the 4000, i still cant get it to show 4000 on the chart.
  4. this makes me think that because it says EXPECT and not hard an fast this is why they dont enter into the arrivals
  5. 1, can i ask if the altitude constraints are in the airac for your FMC, 2, are all these in the US, 3, the other STARS are they for the same airport or a different one
  6. I agree, i would say that 99.5% of the data is correct, and the issues I have come across tend to get fixed for the next airac cycle, and the thousands of lines of code that make up an airac cycle I dont expect 100% It happens in real like, my friend had to enter each flightplan by hand because the airac cycle that was on his FMC was incorrect, so this involved more time preparing for his flight as every waypoint had to be entered very tedious he informed me. So bearing in mind this is virtual, and we pay a mere fraction of the price for airac cycles i think we can accept small mistakes
  7. No this is not normal, Navigraph will update them and should appear in the next airac update
  8. This is a navigraph issue with a lack of detail for the approaches, below is what I believe it should look like when i amended the details. STAR BULLZ2 FIX BULLZ FIX TEDDY AT OR ABOVE 10000 FIX KRENA FIX COGSS FIX SOOLU FIX KURKK FIX VULCN AT OR ABOVE 7000 FIX HIMGO AT OR ABOVE 4000 FIX LOMEZ 4000 HDG 093 VECTORS seems that navigraph are missing a number of things out these days, but with the amount of data and the amount of different addons they supply i am not surprised, just put it on the forum and hopefully they will be able to update it. we seem to be adding to the list of things that need to be changed with the airacs for EFB, maybe we could give a link to navigraph for ONE post with the current AIRAC highlighting mistakes for them to fix rather than individuals posting on there forum.
  9. yep very strange but that did seem to work,,, ummm I will keep testing to see if this continue to work
  10. This is a NGX problem, but we seem to be seeing the effects with AI / Vatsim / Ivao traffic, hopefully PMDG will come up with some kind of solution or idea of what is actually happening.
  11. sorry i think i may have confused you , if for instance i had more than one standard company route but took me via different waypoints, the format that i use is the iata code s for the airfields and then a number or letter sequence behind it to determine the routing so for instance EGSS-LFMN i could go via CPT, SFD , DVR , LYD etc, so my code would be STN-NCE-XA {this would be the code for a cpt departure) STN-NCE-XB {this would be a SFD departure) an so on, this code would stand for all the different flightplans saved whether it is EFB PMDG or FSX flightplan, as this code would be the same for all of them. William, My idea for version 2 was to have a ATC briefing page within EFB, this is where you enter all your data and this then transfers as required to different flight handles, so that way you enter the data in once place and this is then transferred to the rest of the places when you save it, but also acts a a one stop place for weather info and sid /star info and so on , rather than having to write things down or look in different places for the info, it would all be there and
  12. whilst we are on the subject of exporting flightplans, can we have a box that you can enter the flightplan name i use standard routes so by entering a coroute into my fmc i can bring up my flightplan, so for example todays flight i flew LIMJ-EGSS so i entered AOL-STN-XA so this tells me what flight route i will be using, but at the moment i have to change each file name in the save box, but a window giving me an option of what to save all the flightplans at the same time would be good. hope this makes sense. and this is for version 2 Urs, i dont want to stop you developing any longer
  13. format for IVAO [FLIGHTPLAN] ID=RYR36BT RULES=I FLIGHTTYPE=S NUMBER=1 ACTYPE=B738 WAKECAT=M EQUIPMENT=ZSRWYP TRANSPONDER=S DEPICAO=EGSS DEPTIME=1012 SPEEDTYPE=N SPEED=352 LEVELTYPE=F LEVEL=190 ROUTE=CLN L620 REDFA DESTICAO=EHEH EET=0044 ALTICAO=EDLV ALTICAO2=EBCI OTHER=REG/EIEFL COM/TCAS RVR/200 OPR/RYANAIR DOF/110812 A/BLUE/WHITE/YELLOW ENDURANCE=0453 POB=86 MTL=B738RYRWL hopefully this could use as i suggested in my wishlist some more information viewtopic.php?f=4&t=562
  14. I managed to edit it with ADE before i read this post and compiled it as a FSX BGL and all is fine, so I am guessing as you said there was something in there that FSX didnt recognise
  15. have a read of this post you should find your answer, this was noticed a few weeks ago, and hopefully navigraph will sort the problem. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=604
  16. seems to pick up the default BGL rather than the addon scenery, i have tried everything but cant get it to read the addon afcad. maybe we could add an option to tell it to read a certain afcad
  17. I havnt changed the ifly navdata only the EFB ones, so it was just a couple of wrong directions in the text file in the EFB.
  18. There are a few problems with this TXT file, two more fixes also for this file highlighted in blue. Urs beat me to the othe two. I have just flown the KENET2M with the IFLY and no problems with the navdata or navigraph since i amended the txt file for the SID BOGNA1M SID BOGN1M RNW 26L TRK 259 UNTIL 10.5 TO FIX MID FIX D177M AT OR ABOVE 3000 FIX D177R 5000 FIX D177W 6000 FIX OCK28 FIX BOGNA BIG7M SID BIG7M RNW 26L FIX OVERFLY IWW23 AT OR ABOVE 702 HDG 351 INTERCEPT RADIAL 081 TO FIX DET31 FIX DET31 FIX DET29 AT OR BELOW 4000 FIX OVERFLY ACORN 5000 FIX OVERFLY D125R 6000 TURN LEFT HDG 022 INTERCEPT RADIAL 292 TO FIX BIG FIX BIG
  19. Will, I connect EFB way before I start FS to enter my flightplan and start the ball rolling, selecting the SID and STAR and seeing who is actually connected online, so there is no problem running this without FS
  20. Updates for the eye seems to be a progressive thing and if there is a new sector it seems to get updated very quickly, if however there is a new sector, it could be just a matter of asking the sector who owns it to post the information on the forum and this will update the eye next time round. dont forget thought that EHAA:W:NL:Amsterdam:Radar:52.8:4.6 entry will only say a possition but the actual airspace data also needs to be defined. Update Online tonight Urs the following centres were online , they appeared in Whazzup data and also are in my FIR/FIRS file, Hopefully this is more information for the bug to be sorted LFEE:U:FR:Reims:Upper Control:49:6.2 LFEE:L:FR:Reims:Lower Control:49:6.2 LFEE::FR:Reims:Control:49:6.2 LFEE_CTR:314528:Vincent Riff:ATC:128.300:48.95:4.8:0:0::::::EU2:B:5:0:6:200::::::::::::::::eu1.ts.ivao.aero/LFEE_CTR^§Reims control:20110730144123:20110730130346:IvAc:1.1.14:2:5:::::: LFFF:U:FR:Paris:Upper Control:48.4:3.2 LFFF:L:FR:Paris:Lower Control:48.4:3.2 LFFF::FR:Paris:Control:48.4:3.2:LFFF CENTRE LFFF_CTR:157774:Etienne SENAMAUD:ATC:128.100:49.0128:2.55:0:0::::::EU6:B:7:0:6:200::::::::::::::::eu6.ts.ivao.aero/LFFF_CTR^§Paris Center / CHARTS => https //www.sia.aviation-civile.gouv.fr/html/frameset_aip_uk.htm:20110730132351:20110730132351:IvAc:1.1.14:2:7::::::
  21. a little more testing on this today during my flight to Dallas. As you can see with the image below, KZBW is online, he is logged on as KZBW_CTR, he is in my data folder for the eye as you can see shows within the eye, but doesnt show in EFB, so was wondering what EFB looks for, The entry in firs.dat KZBW::US:Boston:Center:43.8:-71.9 The entry in fir.dat !KZBW 43.64:-76.79 44.11:-76.41 44.17:-76.33 44.21:-76.28 44.21:-76.23 44.24:-76.18 44.29:-76.13 44.32:-76.06 44.35:-76 44.35:-75.95 44.45:-75.82 44.51:-75.77 44.72:-75.5 44.67:-75.7 44.82:-75.75 44.97:-74.88 45.07:-74.97 45.15:-74.78 45.19:-74.56 45:-74.25 45.02:-71.48 45.29:-71.33 45.32:-71 45.69:-70.5 45.91:-70.25 46.31:-70.21 46.42:-70.06 46.75:-70 47.45:-69.22 47.29:-68.57 47.33:-68.53 47.37:-68.48 47.4:-68.42 47.43:-68.36 47.46:-68.3 47.48:-68.24 47.5:-68.17 47.51:-68.09 47.52:-68.02 47.53:-67.95 47.53:-67.87 47.53:-67.8 47.52:-67.73 47.51:-67.65 47.49:-67.58 47.47:-67.51 47.45:-67.45 47.42:-67.39 47.39:-67.33 47.35:-67.28 47.32:-67.23 47.28:-67.18 47.24:-67.14 47.19:-67.11 47.15:-67.08 47.09:-67.07 47.04:-67.05 46.99:-67.04 46.95:-67.04 46.9:-67.04 46.85:-67.05 46.79:-67.07 46.75:-67.1 46.7:-67.12 46.65:-67.17 46.62:-67.2 46.57:-67.25 46.54:-67.3 46.2:-67.22 46.15:-67.22 45.83:-67.58 45.78:-67.81 45.63:-67.77 44.94:-67 44.46:-67 43.99:-67 43.51:-67 43.04:-67 42.57:-67 42.09:-67 41.62:-67 41:-69 40.76:-69.34 40.58:-70.88 40.07:-72.5 40.29:-72.99 40.4:-73.24 40.41:-73.25 40.39:-73.4 40.33:-73.64 40.81:-73.29 40.86:-73.37 40.86:-73.86 41.25:-73.86 41.3:-74.01 41.32:-74.08 41.34:-74.09 41.49:-74.34 41.74:-74.96 41.87:-75.05 41.99:-75.34 42.31:-76.05 42.7:-75.97 42.86:-76.01 42.94:-76.09 42.94:-76.48 42.88:-76.67 43.07:-76.76 43.64:-76.79 !KZBW
  22. IVAO actually update there data monthly, all you need to do is download the new data file, below is the link to the lastest file june 2011, you will need to login to get it. http://www.ivao.aero/softdev/mirrors.as ... IvAeDataUp or you could just redownload IVAE and it should put the lastest update in
  23. quick one what is your range set to within fsinn, i suggest at 40 miles

Sorry took so long, two pictures you should be able to see, 1st pick is the intial startup, select you online network, i have ivao selected, I have already entered my flight details into the route (the red text), below is todays so slightly different than yesterdays.
