"The given file \\Peter-PC\Users\Peter\AppData\Roaming\HiFi\AS2012\Weather\LastDownloaded.Wx seems to be invalid." Maybe I am doing something wrong. zimmer46 Posted December 20, 2011 Share Posted December 20, 2011 Check the actual file name and type of file. I use AS 6.5 and the weather is actually a .txt file. In my case its called "current_wx_snapshot.txt" It's also in a completely different location but I guess that will be down to where AS is installed. So it's possible that you try to get the METAR for a certain airport which is not yet loaded. simconnect is overloaded It depends on things like CPU performance, network performance (if you have a networked installation), FSX settings, DisplayUnit settings ... Petermuc3 Posted December 22, 2011 Author Share Posted December 22, 2011 Urs, I checked wether As2012 itself showed the report and it did but I could not load it on to my Display Unit.
