oscar sanz
Hello, I cannot create a new profile for the PMDG 737-800 MSFS. When I create it, it loads it and then returns to a default profile, any ideas? Thanks in advance
lonewulf47
Hi Oscar, What did you enter in the profile as "airfile name"? As I do not have the PMDG models, I cannot say what airfile name is used by PMDG for specific models. To find out, just load the aircraft in MSFS (don't forget to start FSUIPC7 also) and check the server window for a line named: "airfile name xxxxx". There you will see the airfile name returned by FSUIPC7/MSFS for the A/C model loaded. Enter this name into the airfile name in the respective profile. After this edit you have to restart the Client inorder for the changes to become active.
bcrawley57
I am having the same issue. Although there is an 800 profile available, it defaults back to 737 700. I have tried with no flightplan loaded too..
oscar sanz
the problem is that pmdg did not change the name to 738 in its aircraft cfg and it appears as 737, if you edit the name in community 738 aircraf cfg general line edit to 738 the problem will be corrected
