RomanR
Hi together, I'm new to this forum and think about buying EFB v2. I fly in a homecockpit and use an iPad in the moment. It's pretty good, but as there's no real EFB to use on iOS I have a ton of apps for every different task. I'm thinking about getting a cheap windows tablet to install Aivlasofts EFB on it. In the minimum system requirements I can read that you need a minimum screen resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels. Most of the tablets have a resolution of 1200 x 800. Does anybody managed to get it working on a smaller resolution? Best regards Roman
aivlasoft
Hi Roman, unfortunately you would not be able to operate it properly because some of the buttons would not be available (visible).
RomanR
Hi Urs, thank you for your reply! Alright, then I'll have to go for the bigger screen. Also a question in regards of the minimum requirements. Is the EFB well usable when the Tablet is at or close to the minimum requirements and you're not running anything else? KiloJuliett
Performance generally is not an issue, as EFB is highly optimised and only uses a very small part of the CPU (usually around 1-3%). This is always directly visible in the lower status bar of the application. More limiting are screen resultion and network performance.
