ontheair
Salut Urs, Don't know about other EFB users, but I just want to inform you about rather frequent (3 or times a day) and abnormal DP CTD that are occuring without apparent reason. Can I PM you my recent DP logfile to check what could be wrong ? My specs are listed below in my signature (W7-64) What is new is that I'm now running W7 SP1. Could it be related ? Merci
aivlasoft
Jean-Louis, please send the log files to support@aivlasoft.com. SP1: Everything is possible . Seriously, I can't say whether it is due to SP1, I don't know all the details about SP1.
petermaxkoller
Hi Jean-Louis and Urs I am running EFB (Beta 1.3) on a Win7-64 with SP1 and have no problems; the Display Unit is on a second Win-XP PC. Peter
ontheair
I'm not yet 100% sure but I think I've found what might cause all my recent and frequent troubles while running EFB with my brand-new router : I just changed, in the router interface, the WIFI channel from #6 (default setting) to #8 and it seems EFB is now working much better !! That makes me think something was interferring with my WIFI connexion previously set to channel #6 As you can imagine I'm closely monitoring the way EFB behaves since that setting change... Good to know that this channel setting change can make the difference !
