Compatibility AivlaSoft and FsAerodata

Recommended Posts

Hello Urs,

There's a new software named FsAerodata here : https://www.fsaerodata.com/

I've installed this software on my PC and I'm now confronted with a lot of errors when I run AivlaSoft Dataprovider and, inside Data, the Simulator scenery data update. (see screenshot in attach)post-7620-0-82275200-1479058028_thumb.jpg

Could you kindly check the possibility to integrate the results of this software inside EFB ?

Many thanks in advance and Best Regards from Belgium.

Marc

Hi Marc,

I fear that your request cannot be implemented. It would require a total redesign of internal structures, because EFB is designed to use external navigation data from either Aerosoft or Navigraph, but not the FS-internal procedures data from the BGL files.

Hi Marc,

you didn't specify what " the problem of this compatibility" is.

I don't know if you use the same installer. Maybe the one I got is a beta.
I don't see any problems with EFB. FSAerodata creates 2 new items in FSX senery library: FSAD_Approaches and FSAD_Navaids.
Perhaps you get in touch with Jose Rubio at support@fsaerodata.com .

Hello Marc,

So that's why!

It looks like FsAerodata doesn't realise you are using P3D or doesn't find the P3D folder in "Drive:\users\yourname\documents\fsaerodata files\navigation data". Inside there should be 2 more folders: PROC and PROC_SIDs. You could check that in "Drive:\users\yourname\documents\fsaerodata files\settings.xml".

Hello Andreas,

First of all thanks for your help.

So I've already those two folders (PROC and PROC_SIDs) inside "C:\users\yourname\documents\fsaerodata files\navigation data\P3D\"

Hereby my settings.xml. There's perhaps a problem inside :

Hi Marc,

I don't see any errors, but then I'm not a specialist.

What the installer does (should do) is adding two scenery areas: FSAD_Approaches and FSAD_Navaids to your ProgramData folder.

If you have something like the Scenery Config Editor for P3D  you could check it.

I think it's best to contact Jose Rubio at support@fsaerodata.com .
