ek1118
Hi, Within the past couple of weeks I've had to reactivate my EFB 3 times. I have no trouble with the actual activation but it dosen't seem to retain the activation. This starting happening after replacing my hard drive. I also have to uninstall and re install the data provider and display units. I don't use Windows firewall I use Norton IS 2012 and EFB has permission. GG_Flyer
Ed, That's an Urs issue, but (strangly enough) he's rebuilding his drives after a severe RAID-y crash in the past few days. He has great images, so nothing's lost, but he's offline for a few day more. Hang in there.
ek1118
Hi Travis, Sorry to hear about the RAID crash, I lost my hard drive about a month ago, I know what a P.I.T.*** restoring can be even with drive image backups This time I disabled my NIS AV, we'll see if the activation sticks this time BTW thanks for the quick response. aivlasoft
Hi Ed, I'm back again I had a look into the database and I cannot see anything abnormal. So maybe you are using another license key? Could you please send me an email to support@aivlasoft.com containing the license key that you try to register?
ek1118
Hi Urs, I finally found the culprit causing my license file issue. There's a little temp file cleanup utility called ATF which seemed to think that not only my license file was an unnecessary file but also some file for EFB on my display unit PC. I've removed it and that seems to have resolved the problem. Thanks as always for your assistance. Ed
