agutz
When using VoxATC the AI traffic which is visible in the EFB Display Unit at the departure airport disappears enroute and at the arrival airport. It is, however, visible all of the time in FSCommander run in parallel. Both are running on a client PC. Are there any settings in EFB I didn't check? GG_Flyer
Andreas, No, there's nothing special to do in regards to VoxATC. I assume that you've experienced the "clusters of enroute VoxATC aircraft" that appear when you change centers, but that you're seeing something else here? Are you running Vox 6.05 or another version?
agutz
Travis, I am running version 6.05. Traffic disappears completely from EFB Display Unit. I can still hear VoxATC talking. What puzzles me is that I have all the traffic on FSCommander. Regards, Andreas
aivlasoft
Andreas, from the DataProviders menu you can run the "AI traffic monitor". This shows the direct output from SimConnect. Can you see the aircraft there?
agutz
Urs, I'll watch it next time and report back. Regards, Andreas
agutz
Urs, I did another flight that didn't go too well. EFB Display Unit disconnected five times, two times it didn't reconnect, I had to restart the Display Unit. When it was working I saw the AI traffic. AI aircraft monitor was showing the traffic all of the time. Regards, Andreas
aivlasoft
Andreas, thanks for the feedback. EFB Display Unit disconnected five times, two times it didn't reconnect, I had to restart the Display Unit. Are you running a wireless network or is the FSX computer overloaded somehow? agutz
Urs, I don't think the FSX computer is overloaded but yes, it's a wireless network. EFB Display Unit is usually quite stable running together with RC4, IYP on the client. I will reduce traffic in VoxATC and see how that goes. agutz
Just to conclude this threat: I reduced traffic in VoxATC and killed UT2 that was running at the same time (I know I shouldn't have done that). Works much better now, although VoxTAC's traffic is one of the weak ponts of this program. On the whole I prefer RC4. Regards, Andreas
