Only me again Still on EHAM>RCTP (75mins left). WHen I imported the FSX route into EFB I set the cruise alt to FL380. During the flight I went to FL390, I changed the Cruise Altitude on the Route setup page and then activated route again. But, the 'route tools' box, not sure of the correct name states that CRZ: FL380 +1420ft Should it now be FL390 Sorry to be a pain, but this has been a long flight Clive

Travis I'm using Aerosoft's Mega airport Amsterdam FSX Just to clarify this better. When I select airport and start position from within FSX, it does not show any duplicate gates for FSX. I have also searched for any other 'EHAM' bgl files that might have been the cause, but I have none. I have moved the 'scenery' nearer to the top of the scenery library, just in case that was the problem, but no change, still shows duplicate gates in EFB. The is NOT a big issue, in fact you can live with it, to be honest, but I just thought I would bring it to your attention. The only time this would be an issue is if you do cargo flights and need to know where the cargo gates are and want to 'be as real as it gets' I'm currently 5hrs into my EHAM> RCTP flight . (10.5hrs flight time). I will set up any other Cargo flight from another AP and check that the CArgo gates are correct when I land I've also checked the EFB gates against my 'old paper charts' for EHAM and they are the same ie B32, B31, B34 are cargo gates, infact they are right outside of KLM Cargo There are other cargo gates at EHAM, infact quiet a lot. There is 'Martinque Cargo' near RW 36C. Hope this helps Clive

Hi All I've just noticed that the ground chart is not diplaying the correct colour(color ) for Cargo positions. They are 'blue' Also when I go into the 'selct Taxiways' option and use the dropdown, they are in there correctly. Gate B034 (cargo). Again whilst in the dropdown I also noticed that gates have been duplicated also. There is Gate B032 (cargo); this is correct, but there is also a Gate B032 (Airliners, small) . Also when I have selected from to and clicked OK, what is supposed to Happen? Nothing changed . I selected from Gate B034 (Cargo) to Runway 36C. WHat is supposed to happen. I thought it would Hilite the route from gate to runway on the ground chart Edit: Ok just carried out RTFM and now understand that you input the taxiways as per ATC, then the chart shows the route. The ground chart for RCTP does display the correct gate colours. Only noticed this as I was setting up a VA flight from EHAM > RCTP, first cargo run I 've done since using this fantastic piece of software. Regards Clive

Travis, I've tried them all, just to see which one gives the 'best' correct and up to date weather. Since my first post, what I have found is that if you 'clear ' the weather then 'inject' the new weather it is right, date wise. FSrealwx, is the only one I have found that does this , so far. I have tried also the 'real weather' from FSX weather option, but that give 'historic' weather also. that's my testing so far. How do you get NOAA weather into FSX? I'll keep digging and let you know what I find Thanks Clive

Hi All I'm using FSrealWX for weather injection into FSX. Tghe metar that this is report that is injected into FSX is: ESSA 071150Z 30004KT CAVOK M05/M07 Q0997 R01L/11//62 R01R/11//65 R08/11//60 NOSIG The date is 07/01/12 1150Z When I look at the metar in EFB(weather provider=FSX) the metar code is totally different and the date is 12/12/11 0514Z Metar in EFB: ESSA 120514Z 30004G09KT 290V310 30006G11KT 30006G11KT 33028KT There is lots more upper wind data which I assume its gettting from FsRealWX as I'm asking for upper wind data also. There is also diffrences in metars when using REX and 'open clouds' weather programs please advise thanks clive

Thanks Jack, That would be the reason why my chart was out when at an Orbx airfield I will remember to resacan everytime I change scenery areas in FTX Central Clive

Do you have to run the Dataprovider scenery update everytime you change scenery via 'FXT central'. So, if you went from 'Default FSX' to North Amercia would you have to run the updater again? I ask , because I was at an 'Orbex' airport and the ground map showed my aircraft someway of of the taxiways and runways, also it did not show the correct amount of parking slots. Thanks Clive

I have transferred most of my aircraft PDFs to the library, and it work just great. I was just wondering if there is anyway to link documents to aircraft, so that when you hit the checklist button you get another button on that page that say eg 'Documentation' and when you hit that but you get the docs for that aircraft. Just a thought. btw, I'm using this everytime I use FSX, its just great stuff. Just to say Hi and what a great piece of software. What do I like the most so far(just got it today), well it has to be the library. If only I got this long ago, it would have saved so many trees and my wife complaining about ALL the manuals around that "..You never read, what a waste of paper" Anyway been using it today, and it works like it says it does.
