At certain airports on the approach there is a hold pattern shown on the Aivla map. is there a way that one can direct the aircraft into this hold via the instruments FMC GPS or whaterver so that the craft holds position automatically? aivlasoft Posted March 10 Share Posted March 10 I guess it would require to send appropriate information to the FMC which usually is a 'closed system' and does not provide any interface for third-party-tools. All FMC's which I have used provide a HOLD page where you can enter such information manually and the aircraft will follow these instructions.
