AndyH8 Posted May 11, 2022 Share Posted May 11, 2022 Hi guys. I use EFBv2 primarily for X Plane but have also started using it for MSFS2020. How do I select which sim the client uses? I see tgat databases are built in the server but once built I am assuming there is an easy way to switch between sims maybe in the client? Many thanks. Andy. lonewulf47 Posted May 11, 2022 Share Posted May 11, 2022 Check the Server window. On the top line, where the active database is indicated, there's a button labelled "change". This starts the DbBuilder, where you can select the appropriate database. Mark the desired database from the list and press "select". This will start the Server again. If you start the Sim (and FSUIPC) before EFB, then EFB will detect the Sim Type and start with the appropriate database. This does however NOT work with X-Plane. Only MS-based simulators (and thus using FSUIPC) will be self-detected.
