Can you provide us with some more information as - which version of EFB do you run - is it an update or a "clean" install - networked installation or standalone - is it a "stock" airport or add-on scenery Maybe you could post a screenshot which shows the situation when the exception is raised? Could you please send all the logfiles to support@aivlasoft.com.
