Scriptless Posted January 7, 2017 Share Posted January 7, 2017 Hi guys, my P3D (latest version, hotfix 2) crashes when I start EFB DataProvider. Latest FSUIPC (4.959) installed, and gives no error in the log file. I'm using my Laptop for the DisplayUnit and my PC for my sim and Dataprovider. P3D just closes, there is no 'P3D has stopped working...' dialog. No errors in the Windows Event Viewer.. EFB version: weird Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
aivlasoft Posted January 7, 2017 Share Posted January 7, 2017 Hi, indeed, that's weird. If no trace at all can be found about the error on that computer then we can only guess. The one and only resource which is used by both the DataProvider and P3D is SimConnect. Maybe a reinstall of the proper version of SimConnect can help? I hade EFB giving me errors and strange behaviour in P3D/ProSim737, as errors only occured when running DataProvider and a client. It turned out the reason was that I had not updated my windows for a very very long time. I guess newer features like .net and others might have used functions in programming, and I just did'nt have the system to handle it correctly.
