Andayle
Hiya all, I have installed the trial licence of the software and have installed the the data provider on my FSX machine and the viewer on my spare PC, this is all done over LAN with shared folders working etc. I'm not new too networking so I'm pretty sure that part is correct as my weather program is working fine across the network. However when going through the viewer setup tabs I have a problem in the miscellaneous tab. I know I have too create an aircraft before I can go further but when I click on the create new button a new window called aircraft's administration pops up asking for Manufacturer and Type, but I cant type into either of the two fields? My keyboard types fine outside the program but seems too not work in aircraft details. I have tried setting my keyboard from UK (my native) too US but it still happens. Any ideas? this has me really stumped Thank you for any help. Dean Farley.
aivlasoft
Hi Dean, did you try to first press the "New" button at the left bottom of the dialog?
Andayle
Yes I tried that but I get it says that I have used invalid characters in the aircraft name or type, even though I cant type anything too add those characters.
Andayle
YAY!!!! I fixed it hehe. My spare PC is a windows XP machine. I used windows update to see if my framework needed an update. .NET 3.5 updated a small update and I rebooted, I can now edit the new aircraft tabs fine. Case closed. Thanks Dean.
