aivlasoft
Clive, what has changed on that system that this error occurs?Still the same question ... what has changed on that system? I mean if it has been running OK since day one and now it does no longer run OK, something must have changed on that system. But what?
alpha117
No idea, I've done a restore going back as far as it would allow and still the same issue I've uninstalled and re-installed to another location still no luck
alpha117
Urs What is CAstle.MicroKernal part of?
aivlasoft
Clive, Castle.MicroKernel is a so called "Inversion of Control (IoC)" container. It's an open source framework and is part of the EFB architecture. More details can be found here on the project website http://www.castleproject.org/ or here at Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castle_Project From my experience I can say that whenever such errors happen, this sounds to my ears like "reinstall your operating system" ... alpha117
Finally SOLVED. Downloaded and installed the European update package http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=16083. Since posting I noticed other applications were showing italic where they didn't before. Control panel fonts showed Arial regular was indeed missing. How and why this happened no idea. Anyway back up and running Clive
