Hi Mike, for a network installation : install the DataProvider on you FSX machine install just the Displayunit on your laptop and share the folders needed if you install the update : first update on the FSX machine (choose only Dataprovider) , than update on your laptop and install only the Displayunit for sharing all the needed folders see the EFB_Installation_and_Configuration guide : Section 3 Configuration page 15 hope this helps and in the case is does not work : start all over again making sure not to install in the Program Files folder and turning of your AV
