  1. Thank you for the quick response Urs. I have been using your wonderful program on two computers since 2010 so am well acquainted with the nasty access rights and permissions feature of Windows. I'm not saying this problem isn't related to access rights, but it was working before I upgraded to P3DV3. I have double checked permissions, all firewalls are turned off. The DU accepts the folder address for the data folder but when starting stops at "Connecting DataProvider..." Normally, if there is an access rights issue the program doesn't get this far. On a side issue, have you thought about support for iPad? I would love to get rid of my noisy second computer. Thanks for your patience. Bill
  2. I can run the EFB on the host machine but the Display unit won't connect from the networked PC. Looks and sounds similar to the Win10 issue but I'm still on Win7. Bill B.
  3. I'm having the same problem. I ran the display unit on a second computer and monitor for several years. Now the files I need to point to don't show in the file tree. I have gone to using one computer. I would love to solve this problem. Bill
  4. I have the data provider and display unit installed on the same computer as P3D. The PMDG 777 works fine but if I change focus to the EFB and change back inside the cockpit, the audio is distorted and choppy. If I save the flight and come back in it is better but not perfect. I would appreciate any help. Bill Buxton
  5. I'm having the same problem. Should have come here before doing a re-install which didn't work. I really miss having RouteFinder working with the EFB. Sounds like a fix will be released by the end of the week . I can cut and paste but then have to edit the route.
  6. I downloaded the EFB Installer 1.3.2 SP1 but when I tried to install it, the check box for the data provider was blank. FSX is installed on that machine. Only the Display Unit was available but I have that running on another computer. I have installed before without a problem. Thanks Bil SOLVED I used the FREE FS Registry Repair tool so the EFB installer would know which drive FSX was installed in.
  7. I downloaded the FlyTampa KTPA 2.1 update and that fixed it. Thanks for your help. William
  8. I downloaded V1.3.0 of the EFB and love it. I'm very impressed with the way you are developing this product. Now that it supports VATSIM I'm sure many others will become fans. I fly mostly out of Tampa, and through no fault of mine, the magnetic pole moved Eastward and the FAA without consulting me or informing FSX, changed the numbering on the KTPA runways. I downloaded AIRAC cycle 1103 from NAVIGRAPH for the AivlaSoft EFB and for my PMDG aircraft. I also upgraded to FlyTampa - Tampa REBOOT. They all reflect the new numbering system. FSX defiantly defends the old runway numbers. How do I get FSX to accept the new numbering system? Thanks for your help. William
  9. Thank you for the information. I have an old box that should work just fine. Bill
  10. I like the EFB but want to run FSX in full screen mode. Could anyone recommend an inexpensive device that meets the requirement to run this program? Thanks, Bill
  11. I'm getting to know the EFB demo and am impressed with it's functionality. These days I fly mostly PMDG heavies so this product could be a good fit. I'm interested in the advantages and disadvantages of the various configurations of monitors and computers that are possible. I have a fairly strong system but don't want to slow it down. Thank you
