thanks Brian....I am using the Learjet 45 and the GPS 500. I don't understand why the SID is sent as a part of the flightplan, but not the STAR. It was working correctly before my recent hard drive crash and recovery. Thanks, in advance, for any light you can shed on this. Hi....after i enter a flight plan, i save it and then activate it. My gps shows that it received but only up until where the star begins. How can I fix this? Thanks! Marty

Since my recent disk crash, the pc with the display unit is unable to point to the 3 files it needs on the Provider. It works fine when both modules are on the same pc. Any and all help GREATLY appreciated....becoming very frustrated! Thank you! Marty (585) 329-4555

Thanks! So...the altitude will not be set by efb....it will instead show me the correct vertical speed to enter.....correct?

HI...not sure why the little red aircraft icon is no longer showing on the display unit. When I zoom in on the airport I show an "ARP" spot but not the airplane. Please assist.....thanks! Marty ps. love efb!

Hi....When I takeoff from KLAX, I try to use the LOOP6 departure, which calls for a 234 heading and then heading back to the LAX vor. This last time, ATC told me that I should remain on 234 until instructed to turn. My question is this....a) why is there a SID if they routinely instruct pilots not to use it...and, more to the point, after I have entered the route and SID into EFB, how can I remove the initial vectors that it will make automatically? Can I omit the first two steps and just begin the SID with LAX? If so, how? Thanks so much for your help! Marty ps. if you're able to call me that would be great! 585.329.4555

hi...as a novice aivlasoft user, I have two questions: 1) Does Aivlasoft EFB support Vnav....will it manage the descent automatically in a STAR? and 2) Will it show the various controlled airspaces around airports? Thanks in advance for your quick response! Marty

Hello, I've been trying to complete the install of efb, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I have installed both components (provider and display) on my desktop and laptop. I've gotten as far as the desktop connecting with fsx and simconnect "active". However I don't get the laptop's IP showing on the desktop. Further, on the laptop, it says that I don't have the correct Provider data folder. It now is shown as "C:\Users|Martin Leubitz\AppData\Local\Avlasoft\EFB\Avlasoft.Efb.DataProvider" Is this correct? My thinking is that "C:" is not correct in that I need to map the C-Drive on the Desktop...Correct? Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Marty
