Found a few small bugs

Hi Urs,

 

thanks for a great tool.

Unlike some products of the competition it looks very professional and is easy to use.

 

Nevertheless I found a few bugs (or what I think are bugs - or not):

- AP vehicle roads are painted in the ground map

 

- Search for Airports 250 nm around Friedrichshafen. The result contains three airports UK03, UK01 and UK03 that are in in the UK but EFB lists them as Ukraine and Moldavia.

 

- Holds and procedure turns for approaches seem to be missing sometimes. E.g. EDNY, ILS 06 approach, FHA transition is missing the turn.

 

- LFQB has ILS 18 and NDB 18 approaches in FSX GPS (17 in EFB). But only ILS 17 is shown in EFB. The NDB approach is missing.

I already added the lines below to Runways.txt:

LFQB 05 05

LFQB 23 23

LFQB 18 17

LFQB 36 35

LFQB 18R 17R

LFQB 36L 35L

 

- Another example is ESSB Bromma:

ILS 30 (OU Transition in FS). The transition not offered in EFB and the hold is also not shown.

Thanks for this hint, I didn't realize that before

Search for Airports 250 nm around Friedrichshafen.

If you use this function make sure that you ...

1) select the airport you want to search around

2) check the box called '... from current selected airport'

3) select the range

This way you should get around 532 airports.

FHA transition is missing the turn

You're right, but the problem is tha Navigraph data for this transition. There is no initial fix where to start the leg (every procedure or leg must start with a fix).

LFQB, The NDB approach is missing.

There is no NDB approach procedure in the Navigraph data.

ILS 30 (OU Transition in FS)

Same as above, the Navigraph data doesn't contain information about the OU transition for ILS 30 approach.

late answer...

Sorry for the wrong errors. I somehow thought you also use the FSX approaches.

 

I finally found some time to track the UK thing down.

It has nothing to do with a search around Friedrichshafen.

 

Check the airport UK07 (Swanton Morley AB). In EFB it is assigned to Ukraine and Moldavia. In FSX it is assigned correctly to United Kingdom.
