virtualfrancky
Hi everyone, your software is marvellous, I cant fly with out it. Now that I begin to fly online, I have a problem using the Online Network option. I use the IVAO network, when I go to the check option, I select Use Online data from IVAO, then I click on start, the status goes to Running, but the window remain empty, I cant see any controller form any country. The directory for the IVAO data is correctly set up, I have tried without any firewall running, I have tried IVAP online and offline, I have tried with or with out Route activation, any way I have try many thing but no success. I dont see any error in the data provider. I use a register 1.3.1 version, with airac 1103. The Userdata IVAO directory is empty, I dont if it is logical or not. Could you please help solving the problem. Thank you.. Franck Birolini
aivlasoft
Hi Franck, Please do the following: - If a route is already activated, open RouteSetup, press "Clear" - Restart DisplayUnit - Go to "System - Settings - Online" - Check "Log data requests", then press OK - goto "Route Setup" - press "online network - check button", select IVAO and then "Start" - after the connection has been established, even if you don't see any controller, press "Close" - Shutdown the DisplayUnit Please send me all the logfiles which can be found as follows: Open "Windows Start Menu" > All Programs > AivlaSoft > EFB > Logfiles - Restart the DisplayUnit and goto the Online-Settings - Uncheck the Log Requests checkbox

aivlasoft
Hi Franck, thanks for your reply. It seems that the current installer for version 1.3.1 doesn't allow logfiles to be created I'm just testing a service pack which should be released asap. Sorry for the inconvenience. aivlasoft
Hi Franck, today I released a service pack SP1 for 1.3.1. Did you already apply this SP1? After applying this service pack your EFB will write logfiles again . Could you then try again to do what I suggested in my first answer? Thanks! aivlasoft
Hi Franck, thanks for the logfiles. It seems that somehow the data files could not have been read. Would it be possible to send me the following 4 files in a zip file: E:\Program Files (x86)\IVAO\IvAp v2\data\countries.dat E:\Program Files (x86)\IVAO\IvAp v2\data\firs.dat E:\Program Files (x86)\IVAO\IvAp v2\data\airports.dat E:\Program Files (x86)\IVAO\IvAp v2\data\fir.dat From the files path I can see "IvAp v2". Is "v2" a new program version?
virtualfrancky
Hi, did'nt find the files you request me, in the data folder fnd only the files in the zip attached. IVAP V2 is not a new program, but the FSX version Only, it is out from late 2008. Franck
aivlasoft
Hi Franck, it seems that I needed a strong coffee first but now I see it ... You referenced the files from IvAp (pilot client) instead of IvAe ("The Eye") which is a different program. Please install IvAe (latest version) and then reference these files.
