I am having issues with setting the .air file for the MaddogX. I found the file it is in C:\Users\Tim\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\MaddogX\SimObjects\Airplanes\MaddogX88 but the pdf says they usually are in the root folder\SimObjects\Airplanes maybe I am missing something here.

Thanks!

Tim,

This would actually be a question for the Leonardo Forum. Nevertheless depending on the installation system (and my guess that Leonardo uses Lockheed Martin's Package System) the term "root folder" may be a bit different from what you are used from FSX' times. If the package system is used: http://www.prepar3d.com/SDKv4/sdk/add-ons/add-on_packages.html

then indeed the file would be where you located it in the documents path. No idea though what the reason for the request in this forum may be...😄

If you need the information to set the proper name in a profile, then just use the air file you found in the document path (without the *.air extension of course). That will do the work.
