When I activate my flight, the charts are as expeted, Ground dep. The moving map is working ok, it then switches to en route map, which is ok, but it dosnt swith to arrival or approach charts, despit having the star in the flightplan. The .pln was just imported into EFB thru the select button and has not been modified. aivlasoft Posted May 23, 2017 Share Posted May 23, 2017 Hi Chris, thank you for the plans. The .pln file was exported from PFPX as FSX formatted flight plan (XML format). The FSX flight plan specification does not distinct between SID, STAR or even Approach. It only contains "waypoints". Therefore when importing such a plan into EFB, no information about procedures is given. As a result of this, the map switching does not work, except the switch from ground to departure (triggered by 'liftoff') and the switch from enroute to ground (triggered by 'touchdown'). Try to use the PFPX export function which creates a flight plan in EFB data format. This way the information about the procedures is part of the exported flight plan. I have attached 2 further files, a shorter route, I have exported from pfpx to my P3D 2.5 documents and to ELB routes. I cant see why PFPX is exporting an xml file to the p3d docs folder, not your programs problem there I imported into EFB from EFB routes, which was exported to the EFB Route folder from PFPX, but it seems the star (BEVL4A) still isnt recognised by efb. I still had to add the arrivals and approach manually (No SID from YPKG) Must be doin somethin wrong somewhere. lol I also think that even tho Im using 1705 on both programs and PMDG 737NGX, there is at least 2 issues where PFPX allows you to plan an ILS runway for a given STAR, but in PMDG Data (from Navigraph as well) says no arrival for selected runway, yet PFPX lets you plan it and export it (Again, not your problem ) Arriving YPPH on ILS 21, BEVL4A is avail but BEVL4V isnt according to the PMDG FMC (Again, not your problem ) Thanks Chris YPKGYPPH01.efbr YPKGYPPH01.pln YPKGYPPH After adding Arrivals-Approach.efbr Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
aivlasoft Posted May 23, 2017 Share Posted May 23, 2017 Hi Chris, seems to be an issue with the import on EFB's side. It does not consider the information about the procedures. I can reproduce it here. Since development on version 1 has been ceased, I guess you have to select the procedures manually after the route has been loaded.
